If you think the Browns are a good bet to keep it close, you should be betting on them to cover, not avoiding the Giants in survivor pools. There aren't many survivor picks out there as good as this one -- Cleveland is horrible, New York is elite and has absolutely no future value. The only knock against them this week is that they will be extremely popular, although this does vary by each individual pool.
Tip: take the Giants as your survivor pick, and take the Browns to cover on a side bet. If Giants blow them away, you're happy because you're on to the next week. If the Browns happen to win outright, you're gone from your survivor pools, but at least you have some cash in your pocket. If the Giants win in a nailbiter, you've middled it -- both bets win.
