Still alive in two of my leagues and won a small one this week when the last guy had Pit

Week 14: Pit @ Cle. Don't like road games but Pit has to have this game and Cle is terribad
Week 15: Den vs Oak. Game scares me a bit but Den in playoff battle and should take care of their house
Week 16: Ari vs St. Louis. This one should be a blood bath
Week 17: Jax/Colts/undecided. A little thin here but if Jax is in playoff hunt they will be hungry @ Cle. Colts @ Buf for the undefeated season?

is TEN not the easiest pick for this week? am i the only one who likes that better than steelers on the road with how awful theyve looked (and CLE didnt look as terrible as usual this week)

I'm already out in all of my leagues, but I had this ween narrowed down to Baltimore (home to DET) and Tennessee (home to St. Louis). I athink that New England is also a good pick, but I've used them already.

I just can't muster it up to pick TEN this week for some reason. Can't really explain it as they have looked really good after the 0-6 start and are at home but something just makes me not want to pick this game. Probably the main reason though is that almost 60% of the people so far are on TEN. Not many people in my league have Pit left so it seems like many people will be on TEN and I want to have something different. Pit is also in a pretty much must win game (albeit on the road) but I feel pretty confident that they will take care of business.

I had Pitt planned out for this week but am now leaning towards Tennessee. They are a bigger favorite, -13 vs. -10, and at home. The Steelers are also banged up. Polamalu is likely out again. Randall Gay, starting DB, and Hines Ward are also doubtful.

A couple of other teams that may worth a second look for this week (if you still have them available) are the Ravens and the Saints.

I think the Ravens are going to be the best bet this week. Too many people will be on the Titans.

been agonizing over this all day at work. With so many people on TEN in my two leagues most likely I am sticking with my plan and going with PIT tonight. Gonna make for an awesome game to watch with so much on the line. Got Mendenhall in first round of fantasy playoffs too. Go Steelers!! Need this loot for a vegas trip in March.

need some herbal refreshment to calm my nerves for the time being

Pittsburgh's losing streak is pretty much single handily giving me a shot to win this.

Vince Young left practice on Thursday with ice on his knee, and Chris Johnson's ankle is giving him problems. FML I already submitted my pick.

Change it now to the Ravens. Unless... you're in a league that has deadlines before noon/1pm on Sunday? Attention all commissioners out there... early deadlines are stupid for this exact reason!

Already used the Ravens, and it's through work so the commish sends it out before the end of the day on Thursday.

Pretty sure like 99% of people in these pools have already used the Ravens...

Outside of the Ravens and maybe the Pats (word is Brady is hurt again but you know how Bill does his things, injury-report wise), the Titans is possibly the best pick this week. Both teams don't have anything to play for at this point really but the Titans is Vince's team now and I think they will get it done this week, at least some type of moral victory after losing 6 straight to start the season.

I could see them ending up with an 8-8 season which is quite an accomplishment, considering the horrific start that they had. Having a veteran coach and veteran players definitely help.

The Rams is still trying to win another game or 2 but Kyle Boller has always been a backup in his NFL career for a reason. All-Pro ball-hawking defensive back A.J. Otogwe has also been ruled out and the Rams doesn't bring a lot of pass rush so I think Vince Young and Chris Johnson will have a nice day tomorrow.

This is the critical juncture for Survivor Pools, i guess it goes without saying it's important to know which team is still playing hard and which one has packed it in. I have seen guys trying to be *different* by taking another route at this stage of the game and that's all fine and dandy but the odds are there for a reason. I would rather pick the best team that I still have at my disposal and let the chips fall where they may instead of trying to be cute or different and have all sort of second-guessing after all is said and done.

That's the best you can do really.

Best of luck fellas and surviving we shall!
