I'm gonna hold off on mine since I actually participate in this forum and already have a rep for being a pretentious douche. But every other forum has them so lets see whats up.

Get serious with SB and poker. ie stop ****ing around and making stupid bets and not doing enough research on games, making compulsive bets, etc.

Basically get a little more disciplined and actually start making serious money at this **** because I killed the NFL for about 8 weeks and have given most of it back.

Make better use of scarves when accessorizing.

Stop donking away poker winnings on sports betting. Make a killing on AI wagering.

Make more $$$ in less time than Thremp for the 5th consecutive year.

Made ~$70k betting in 2007 and had a few big and upsetting downswings. $12k are courtesy of crockpot. So is one of the upsetting downs, but a big 'thanks' is due anyway!


Goal: At least twice the money in 2008 with just one terrible swing preferably.

Not lose 8-10 cbb games in a row with 1-2 pts better than closing lines again.

Try to have another 6-0 Saturday during the 2nd round of March Madness when in Vegas. That was nice.

My other goals are to sit at NL in Vegas with Thremp and 1-2 other guys and all at least double our money again.

#1. Just run at expectation. I don't even want to run good.

1) Take a effing stat class finally... Or umm... just work through the book.

(1) less sports betting, more poker. some days even when it is full of sports, i should just ignore the market and focus on poker. i waste so much time on this crap it is incredible.

(2) become a better sports bettor somehow... probably through:
(a) improved bet sizing
(b) fewer steam bets about games i have no info on
(c) be more selective, hedge out when i have second thoughts
(d) improving my handicapping, although i'm not sure where i'll find the time

(3) be miserable less often. i won about the same amount in 2006 and 2007. i would take the number again in 2008. the swings really bum me out though. this last year was extremely difficult at times. if i have the same amount of bad luck in 2008 it's gonna tear me up. unless i have...

(4) lower monthly living expenses so more of my profit is around at the end of december.

(5) my move to vegas ends up being a success and a good idea

1. get the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 repealed.
