122 person pick 'em, I'm leading with 1 game up on next few players with a 14-1 record heading into MNF. I also have an entry that has 2 losses, 1 game behind like everyone else.
I ended up taking NYG in the leading entry, and obv DET in the 1 game behind with the pack. I figured worse case scenario I have 2 entries in order to predict the correct tiebreaker in points, in the event DET wins.
The more I think about this, was I an idiot not to take DET in the leading entry thus locking out completely the field? I was prob 90-95% certain the entries below would all take DET in order to catch up, and they all did.
Final result, DET wins, I didn't save the correct tiebreaker I ultimately decided on in the larger pool which was 34 points, the exact score lol and lost all pools. In the bigger pool there was 3 of us including myself with a 14-1 record and was surprised that I was the only one that took NYG, the other 2 took DET while in the lead. I'll take that spot any day though.
if you're assumption about the 2nd group taking DET at that high of a clip then yes you made the wrong play there as far as how you split the pick with NYG. Keep in mind it's early in the season, plenty of opportunities for catch-up with longer and longer shot plays.
Oh and I forgot to mention this is a weekly prize pick 'em, the backup tiebreaker after points for MNF goes to the best record for the week before, but other then that, season long record doesn't really matter.
Thx tho, shts been driving me crazy. Needing a 15-1 record last week plus going to a tiebreaker is kinda ridiculous with how many upsets there were.
Eh, last week had lots of good pick'em records. My 14 person had a 15-1 and 4 14-2s.
But ya if you knew they were all taking Detroit then you should've mirrored and won the $$. Plenty of weeks left for profit though.

Just makes me sick I had the exact tiebreaker 34pts but didn't save it on the second pool for reason, haven't ruled out sketchy pool behavior, gonna email my picks to Commish so there's timestamped evidence if ever in such a situation again just in case lol. Long over it now though.
