As a Bears fan I can honestly say last night was one of the worst gut punches I've experienced. I dont know if the Philly defense won it or the Chicago offense lost it by not moving the ball more consistently, but either way I am dead inside now. At least the Chargers were a nice ML bite.

Early lines seem a bit wide to me, I wonder if there will be a little narrowing as the week settles on.

With more numbers now at play and this trend of opening wide and then narrowing, I feel like there may be pretty good middling opportunity for the Super Bowl as that line usually moves a fair bit in the 2 week run-up to the game.

Eagles v Saints u51: saints crushed them 48-7 but that was before BIG DICK NICK magic. Saints also have averaged 31.5 points per game this season, but have slowed down since the 48-7 win over the eagles, averaging only 21 over the last 6 weeks. Saints D also stepped up lately, so the 51 total seems a bit high imo.

Went the bookies Sunday and ask for cash back . They all do cash back but this time staff said that they won’t do it and have go atm. No problem meh go and get money from atm and call back in to betting shop.

Put £100 in machine and it takes the money. ( sports betting machine not slots fobt)

Screen is frozen it says wait 10 seconds or press button to go to menu. So it’s super obvious that the machine has accepted my money and you can’t see balance on machine due to the screen being froze.

Go to counter and tell staff that machine froze and I put my money in. He goes over to the machine and opens it up and takes all the money out and starts counting it. I try and say that it will have the correct money in it because it took the money and to look on till roll that will show £100 deposit in last few minutes. Huge fat man just cuts me of mid sentence and says am checking for you give me a minute. He Looks up and says the till roll and money in the machine is correct . Ok ?what now? He says it’s correct. Meaning am fos and I did not put money in machine

Try to explain and cuts me of mid sentence again. Machine correct. Am starting lose my cool now and with a bit of a raised voice try explaining it is obviously correct as machine took the money but I could not use it because screen is froze and am unable to use touchscreen place my bet and all he has too do is look at the last deposit on till roll.

Lose it and started calling him a fat effing . Telling me get out of shop . Every one in there doesn’t care odd person looking over . No way I was leaving shop unless get my money. Woman comes over and saying calm down . Hopefully she might understand and sort it out.

I now want to kill him as he knows I put my money in the machine and is basically telling me am fos and tough ****. She goes over to the machine and says it is froze (yeah) I said I tried to tell him this

She obviously can’t say yeah he is a idiot so ok just place your bet and leave.

He says and don’t come back as am going to put my bet on. Lose it and run over to the counter and am calling him fat ahole to come out side or meet me.

I get told by the lady to leave the shop which is fine as I have my money and there is another book makers less then five feet away.

The lines always seem to move at least a point before game time. It seems like always public money on the best team (fav) that will go down a point?

Is it then always a good idea if you want fav and points to back them as early as you can? And vice versa if you like the dog and points?

Does steam betting mean we’re you take a line you think will change then lay it when it does?

And if so is it possible to make small profits or not worth it because of -110 make the profit most time less then 10% ? Making it pointless unless you think you can hit lines over 50%?

I feel like there is plenty of blame to go around:

- offense/coaching for not taking better advantage of 2 TOs in first half and for constantly stalling when in PHI territory
- defense/coaching for only having 10 men on the field for Eagles' first TD
- coaching for not using all 3 TOs to give offense more time on last drive
- defense for having 5 point lead and giving up TD, in large part due to a couple of third down penalties
- kickah for blowing game-winning FG

As for the lines, I would expect the NFC lines to go up, not down. Not sure about AFC, but KC & NE are public teams.

I'll take them vs KC. Price should be right. Again, look at the O-Line. KC bottom 3. Mahomes all those freakish scramble plays, sure. But you know why? He has to. His line can't pass block.

Ask yourself this question (on any game): Which QB is more likely to be able to stand back and go through his progressions?

KC has let up only 26 sacks this year and FO has them as the 5th best pass blocking o-line, but sure

Feel good this week. Give one tip never follow my picks as I take less then 30secs picks each game. If spend to much time analysis not as good as your gut pick. Can’t beat your guts as they know what there doing. Anything that stretch to moon and back is going give you it straight.

Bet as big a double as I can afford. If lose at least only one game left for me to give them my money

Feel like use walking into bookies and putting my money on counter and saying here take my money. Easier and less stress. Still have more chance winning then my picks.

Went -3 so had take -3. Was close to change my bet to saints because of the change. Don’t like betting saints as they are over hyped and price always reflects that.

Bet ding in snooker with the money as well as football so triple my money. Put on the double rams chiefs . +3 -3

Still get push @ -3 so not that bad.

As above poster said both games are bad bet on. No value either side am just hopeful I get lucky and have a dog in the race both games.

Maybe pats go -2.5 because public close game time. Saints game stick @3 I think

It actually opened at mostly -110 on each and then quickly moved on NE.

I think KC was stupid not to throw one more time for the endzone on 3rd down instead of going for the tying field goal with 11 seconds left. You let up, you lose!

Kind of shocked the Rams aren't -2.5 TBH. I guess I can afford to wait but will def be on the Rams as dogs
