Kyle/Eckes was the key combo since they're the only two who did anything.
Looking over past data I'm worried about Nemechek and McDowell. This should be a hot race with a slick surface like Atlanta and Kentucky. Both races he spun out (Kentucky twice!) and didn't place high. McDowell a similar story.
I think I'd rather pay for A Dill at 6.9k and LaJoie at 6.1k. Brennan Poole looks interesting too. Have him projected for 22 points which isn't a lot, but 4.9k can allow me to fit in both chase and truex
Yea, I needed to play Eckes to do anything in Trucks. Whenever I play him he crashes though (guess I can say that about any non-KB truck driver).
Interesting note, I had McDowell and JHN in my first lineup with Harvick. Lajoie looks pretty good to me. Not sure about Poole, he's cheap but even removing the crashes his AP and AF don't look good. Outside of Daytona his highest finish is 24th, then 27th twice, and he needs 27th to hit a 22pt target.
Chase to the back. Always someone every week. I dunno if it effects him much since he wasn't expected to dominate.
I think we're going to see weird pit strategy from Harvick again and he takes over in stage 3.
Right now trying to decide between
Harvick, Blaney, Byron, Reddick, A. Dillon, McDowell
or
swapping Byron/Mcdowell for JJ/LaJoie
This team hinges a lot on Blaney getting the lead early, leading most of stage 1, and then Harvick taking over mid-Stage 2 or early Stage 3. I always like LaJoie but I'm thinking Byron/McDowell is the safer bet. If there were expected to be crashes then I'd look at LaJoie.
Not gonna overreact to the Chase news like I usually do. Lot of time to move up, wasn't going to lead to begin with, and still should get a good share of fast laps. Gonna have a lot of tourney lineups with one of him or Truex
You should more worry about his bad experiences in really hot and slick tracks instead of going to the back. Also he's lost the 2nd most spots on pit road this year. 1st? Joseph Logano
That's why he always looks good but never wins. Fighting against an inept crew
Maybe that's why they limit you to $50 bets after 3 bets.
I know sportsbooks can do whatever they want but how is that not getting around problem gambling rules. By encouraging losers to bet more than others isn't that specifically targeting a group who can be identified as problem gamblers?
Knew JHN and McDowell would be chalk but surprised about Bell being in the massive dupe train. Also has Aric + Blaney + Harvick which should be negatively correlated.
