DK Sunday Cup was ok, lost a little, but FD Sunday crushed and more than made up for it.
Talladega and Daytona are completely different tracks. For Daytona this year (and every year) I just started the 6 guys in the back and won everything. I was 1st in the main GPP for 100k+ too with all back guys and 1 lap left but then LaJoie hit Newman and lost 4 spots. It ended up in 16th. But look at all those points without many dominator points. For cash I usually leave ~20k on the table. It might be weird since DK started pricing up place differential guys post covid. I think they're going to keep all the salaries low this week tho because of the big 250k.
You're going to be losing most of the race but then when all the accidents happen place differential takes off. Talladega isn't as bad as Daytona with regards to crashes, but you're still going to lose 30-40% of the field.
Hamlin and Logano are good at these type of tracks. Be interesting to see where they start tho. Both know to stay in the back. At Daytona Hamlin purposely qualified bad and Logano dropped to the back at the start of the race. Logano was crushing until he gave someone a middle finger as they were passing him and then his engine exploded.
