I like Gustaffson at -200 as well although I wouldn't take him any higher

Ended up with 0.5u Dantas, 2u Gustaffson, 2u Pickett, 2u Abedi, 1u Diabate and 1u Siver for this weekend
Yeah, it might have been that when he manhandled Vera he just looked so incredibly strong. What do you guys think about comparing Silva to Te huna, in terms of body type, strength and offensive wrestling, would you say they have about the same takedowns? I'm not taking into consideration BJJ, which Silva is better at and has better ground control. I'm just saying that Te Huna took Gustafsson down once and had him there for a couple of minutes, then when he tried to pass or smth Gustafsson got him, in the Vera. I'm afraid the same thing might happen in this fight. And I think Silvas cardio is better than Te Huna, who gassed vs Gustaffson in the first round.

Adding a unit on Young on Maguire each

And finalising my bets for the day by adding 3u on Gustaffson now that he's under -200 (albeit narrowly) and 3u on Pickett plus 4x 3 fighter parlays each combo of Pickett, Abedi, Carmont and Young for 1/4 of a unit each

Gogo time. Sweeping the card like 143 would be nice, i'm pretty confident about most of my bets. Expecting to get 1/2 of the dogs in Siver and Diabate and all but one of the favourites i'd say on average. Stann should win too but there's no value there really, he's too big a favourite.

On Gustafsson, Thiago, Pickett and Carmont to win 1.5u each.

I like your picks although I stayed away from Thiago because of the hype behind Siyar

I'm on Gustaffson, Pickett, Abedi, Diabate, Siver, Young, Maguire, Carmont, (in order of bet sizing). Cheering for Stann as well but no real value, and don't know enough about the Yousef/Thorsen and Madadi/Izquierdo or enough about Sirar in his fight vs Thiago to have a feeling one way or the other

I really hope Gustaffson, Young, Abedi, Siver, Diabate and Pickett all win, and not just because of my bets, I like all of them as fighters as well and they all put on great fights on a regular basis. Lack of big names aside, this is going to be an amazing card imo from an entertainment perspective. I can't see a single fight where it'll be lay and pray or wall and stall at all. Literally any fight on the card could win FOTN (with the disclaimer that i've never seen a couple of the fighters from the prelims before)

Issue w/ Silva would be cardio. Anything over +160 I think is worth a small play but Gustaffson really bounces around in there. I could see Rd 2 or 3 he puts some combos together against a gassed Silva and gets a finish via accumulation of blows

I like the wording on that one, accumulation of blows :P But yeah, I'm hoping for that, as long as Gustafsson rides out first round he should be fine. But who knows, maybe Silva has been training like a freak for 1 year now...

I'm fading Young for a unit

Come on Young, put him to sleep

Young has this. Never seen an Iowa wrestler fight less like one.

I'm talking about balance Son, do you have any?

and 20-18, Young looking decent

You're right Wisely's balance has been bad he shouldn't have been taken down that many times

and 30-27. Solid fight there, he didnt take any risks, for wisely's part at least he came out swinging r3 after corner advice

it wasn't 30-27

Wisely won rd 3. 2 judges 29-28 1 judge 30-28 (meaning rd 3 was 10-10)

entertaining fight there, they both looked better than I expected considering I hadn't heard of either of them before tonight

All good fights so far, maybe it's because there hasn't been a UFC event in so long but i've been super hyped during all the fights tonight

2-0 in my picks but they were two of my smaller pays.

Diabate is one of the value bets of the card imo let's see if he can get it done...

He's facing a ground guy, bad matchup stylistically for him.

Do you guys think they should been stood up at any time?

Wow I thought that was it when he got taken down, if he can actually defend he gets 3 chances for the TKO

Feed Deblass to Perosh if he somehow wins this

Never thought i'd say that about anyone to Perosh but there you go

Come on now be a good snake and hurt him

A lower level ground guy

I bet Perosh over him (odds play) and even though Perosh won he does win slightly under half the time vs Diabate imo

Diabate can win this if he attacks

Edit: sigh, nvm
