I do not see a single edge he has. Jones better wrestler, better subs, better athlete, better striking, better conditioning, younger...

Right, Glover has about a 10% chance imo

Yeah he just that random whatever percent chance of something insane happening that every fighter who steps into the cage against another fighter has...that's the only way I ever see him walking out of there a winner.

Glover has a punchers chance, he has more power than Gus but less technical striking so he's less likely to connect

I'd say -700/+700 or thereabouts is true line with Glover's wins being 90-95% by r1/2 TKO and Jones being a mixture of TKO/Sub/Dec

Jones has shown a rock solid chin so far and Teixeira's power is nothing special IMO.

Texeiras conditioning seems pretty bad, can't see at all how he hangs in there with Jones past 1 round. He has a solid 1 round to catch Jones though, the best of the lhw except for maybe Gus.

Gus is on another level than that of Teixeira. The guy got rocked by both Bader and Maldonado.

I expect Jones to knock him out.

gus so overated him and shogun had a close fight

Have to take it into perspective. 1st Jones fought a shogun out of shape. 2. A big part of Gus shogun was on the feet and that is shoguns speciality. Gus is a better stylistic matchup for shogun than Jones. Gus isn't overrated at all.

close? wtf?

Gus had almost twice the amount of significant strikes, 2.5 times as many total strikes, 2 guard passes vs 0, and scored 6 takedowns compared to shoguns 1.

Because no one buys ppvs to see Okami. This is definitely not about skill. Problem is he is just good enough to be a perennial co headliner, yet no one cares about him. He is boring, doesn't speak English, and the average American mma fan doesn't get interested in his fights. I know this is crazy, but if he wasn't as good as he is, he would have longer longevity in the UFC.

I'll take Machida up to -350 on that one, and I rarely bet favourites

Poor Munoz is right.

As always, it comes down to if Machida feels like being demonstrably better or just better, and if the judges can see straight though. I have no doubt he will deserve to win.

1u Erik Silva/DHK goes distance +145.

Damn, just realized Bellator is on.

Tirloni should be up 2-0 here for me, though first round was competitive. Still thought he landed more hard strikes. Second not particularly close, Clementi standup is so rudimentary that even Tirloni's average striking is more than enough.

Anyone else feeling the dogs on the upcoming UFC event. Liking Shields and DHK @ +2xx. If I knew that Shields would grapple, I'd be betting heaps, but I'm afraid this will turn into a kick boxing match. That being said, I don't think Shields is a +2xx dog in a kick boxing match against Maia. Thoughts?

Last minute 1/2u on Davis. Tiger doesn't have any super impressive wins and I could see him losing in a trap fight to a tough vet.

I need Sarnavskiy, went with square favorites tonight.

I also think Shields has a kickboxing edge on Maia, probably will play him via decision, I don't see him ever finishing here.
