Cerrone's defensive striking and wrestling deficiencies will prevent him from ever being top 5.

Cerrone is only 30 years old, but i believe he has already hit his prime, and is starting to slide past it. Also what Mo said, his defensive striking just isn't where it needs to be to fight guys like RDA/Pettis, and even Nate Diaz (even though i think a better game plan could have won him that fight.)

Where Dunham is 31, but is just starting to hit his prime. He's had a couple close fights, but i can't think of that last time i thought "man, he just doesn't look good tonight". Also he arguably only has one loss on his record.

Dunham is constantly improving and Cerrone is slowly drifting downwards (and his game planning has been crap as of late) + both fought RDA in last fight, where Cerrone got lit up, Dunham had 10/10 media outlets say he won the fight.... if Dunham opens + money because of name value, I will be making a pretty giant bet. I'm personally capping it at -220 for him.

Was pretty upset Dunham didn't get the rightful decision against RDA. Had him at a nice plus number there. I feel Dunham is one of the fighters I have the strongest reads on, bet him vs Lentz, Tibau, and RDA, faded him vs Grant.

Only time Dunham looked bad was against Guillard.

Thanks PartygrlUK

I know if that wasn't a 10-8 I don't know what you'd have to do to get one....

Maynard-Diaz Rematch set for TUF 18 Finale

that's great match making for those two. Would be pumped if Diaz could pull it off and get himself back in the title picture, Or at least keep himself relevant.

Not sure who the favorite should be though.. Maynard has the ability to take him down and grind it out that way, but Nate has a dangerous sub game (Sub'd Jim miller ) and with Maynard's striking style, i think Nate could win a stand up battle.

Maynard's a sizable favorite there, -250 probably. He can just lay and pray.

I heard that he has been for about a month... and supposedly he's been a nice addition to the team.

Diaz/Maynard 2... hmm... Diaz will box him up if Maynard's too egotistical to lay and pray, obviously if he's coming to wrestle he should 30-27 it.

Torn on who to cheer for I think I dislike Maynard even more than the Diaz brothers so this will be my first time ever cheering for a Diaz - actually, second time, since Diaz vs Daley and obviously going to cheer against that Daley clown forever after his deliberate sucker punch on Koscheck after the bell, he should have been arrested for assault for that.

Gustafsson's up to +555 now, as much as I told myself i'd never fade Jones again unless I could get Machida at +500 or whatever if Gus hits +600 I might not be able to resist a play anyway even though I expect him to get taken down and elbowed into unconsciousness, simply because at +600 Gus has a puncher's chance vs anyone and if he connects with a hard shot before Jones lands a takedown anything is possible, there are very few top 10 fighters in any weight class I wouldn't take at +600 against the champ in that division except for probably one dimensional wrestlers vs GSP and probably some of the lower top 10 BW guys against Cruz/Barao, maybe the bottom end of the top 10 at FW against Aldo as well

Arlovski vs Kyle thoughts?

Washed up elite fighter who still has a tiny bit left vs guy who never really had it but can beat cans. I guess Kyle has one or two decent wins but they were also a while ago. Looked decent vs Wiuff, but Wiuff kinda sucks.

Convince me that betting on Arlovski is burning money?

On another note, anyone want to take Jones and Wineland against my Barao and Gustafsson on a sidebet for the next card? Obviously Barao and Jones are unbackable favourites, so if either of us goes 0-2 with our two fighters we owe the other person $50-100 and 1-1 is a push which is the most likely outcome. Basically comes down to whether you think Jones or Barao is the bigger fav I guess, odds wise Jones is by a small margin, obviously both should win easily but it'll give me a sweat since I like Barao and Gustafsson more as fighters

Pretty surprised Penn agreed to the weight class

Excited to see an in shape BJ.

Weird they are coaching big guys way larger than them. Usually it's around the same class or a weight level below.

Edgar will outpoint him again but nice to see BJ one last time?

Edgar vs Penn 3 doesn't make a whole lot of sense. BJ would be better off getting a top 15 guy, where Edgar should be getting a top 5.

However, I'm excited to see Penn in shape at 145, and i really enjoyed him on season 5. Also in all seriousness they are 1-1.. no way edgar won their first fight.

I mean sure it's 1-1 but there is no ****ing way Penn is gonna do anything but lose on points to Edgar at this point in their careers. And BJ is probably my all time fave to watch.

it's interesting.. i wonder how big Edgar would have been if he didn't get the gift dec in their first fight.. wonder if he would have even won a belt.
