Edit: Sherdog had it 29-28 29-28 29-29 for Whittaker but with different rounds for him, 411mania had it 29-28 for McGee. Definitely going to be some discussion on that one but even though I was cheering for Whittaker I think 29-28 McGee was fair.

Not sure how 2 judges can score it 30-27 on opposite ends of the decision... it's like they weren't watching the same fight. Love how much Mcgee's striking evolved, he's always had a nice gas tank and constantly moves forward and is fun to watch.

think a 30-27 was fine. I had r1 whittaker, with 2/3 as tossups... leaned 2nd for McGee, and 3 for whittaker, but could have gone either way.

Interesting how things have changed for Rafael dos Anjos and Tyson Griffin. They fought each other on the undercard of the first "Condit-Kampmann" fight in 2009 and RDA got 30-27'd by Griffin.

They were both born in 1984 and it was the 15th fight of each fighter's career.

But now Tyson Griffin is out of the UFC and still losing fights, while RDA has won 5-in-a-row and might top 5.

How does that happen?

looool this was so laughable. McGee won that IMO, I definitely thought he won the last two rounds.

And the Perez/Mizugaki fight was a 30-27 Mizugaki I thought, only the first round should have even been in question. Perez got pooped on in the last two rounds, no idea how any sane person could score either of those for him. At least Whittaker had an argument for 1 and 2.

Fantastic card overall, Gastelum was really impressive, what a killer he looked like out there. Nearly bet Melancon, glad I steered clear. Late add Mizugaki came through for me at +282 by decision.

Figured Condit would eventually crack Kampmann, but man nobody can ever question that dude's heart.

Hope it changes hands, don't feel Benson is the most deserving and don't think he'll hang on to the belt, he hasn't been dominating(except for nate diaz, but diaz isnt anything that rlly) and he got a gift decision in his last outing and the one vs edgar 2. Beside, don't like his style, rather see it change hands or a dominant champ like jones/Cain.
