On another topic, there seem to be a lot of talented grappling female fighters. Kyra Gracie, if decides to go to MMA, the olympic sarah mcmann. Wouldn't mind seeing those 3 face each other(3rd bein ronda).

Well, stylistically it's a bad matchup for him. It says something that so many pro's are optimistic. He also seem to have a killer one leg takedown, and AS isn't that immune to takedowns. Question is, how is weidmans chin? AS right(or was it left) hand is pretty sick, sometimes he just jabs at someone and they go down, Griffin/Okami/the guy who kicked and AS caught his kick etc.

When they hype someone, it's usually not top fighters that are doing the hyping specifically, it's more the UFC in terms of exposure they get/camera time etc. Those are my thoughts, could be wrong though.

Just saying, there's a lot more commotion about this one than when he faced Okami, Maia. Also, I'm not saying AS won't win, I'm just trying to gather info/make sense of the fight, trying to analyze it as correctly as possible, and quite frankly I feel it's hard. It's not the usual AS prediction, where you know AS is going to win like 90%. There's some doubting going on now imo.

I'm taking a small flier on Rafaello Oliveira at +500. I don't think he'll win but the line is getting too juicy to pass on.

Womans division is really fun to watch, don't really like the standup as it's often just too sloppy, and kinda feel sorry for them getting their face smashed. But their ground game is more fun to watch than 90% of male fighters, it's fast paced, they switch positions a lot, more back and forth. What's not to like.
