i bet he could becomes bellator champ if he is training hard... he is still mid-level fighter (at ufc standard) bader is his worst loss since coming to the ufc 6 years ago... besides that he has only lost to former champs in rashad/Forest, current champ in Jones, and what is supposed to be future champ in Glover.

he's also ended Chuck's 7 fight win streak (4 title defense run), unified Srikeforce belt vs Dan Henderon, and beat former champ and current top contender Loyoto Machida. also Bader is top 10... Rampage still isn't to be taken light, and can still beat most of top 10-20 fighters

UFC on FS 1 gonna be sick...

Travis Browne vs. Alistair Overeem
Yuri Alcantara vs. Urijah Faber
Thiago Alves vs. Matt Brown
Michael Johnson vs. Joe Lauzon
Uriah Hall vs. Nick Ring
Conor McGregor vs. Andy Ogle
Mike Brown vs. Akira Corassani

Confirmed until now... and Shogun probably gonna be moved there. + One title fight at least I guess... At least Bendo vs Grant. Maybe Jones or even GSP? They will lose PPV cash, but might get reimbursed well by Fox? + it's close to Canada?

If I won't get a ticket for that card when flying all the way there... I'm gonna shoot myself lol... xD

wonder how big of a dog ogle will be.. McGregor has the build that gets taken down easily. (

Alcantara vs Faber is a sick fight.

Ogle gonna get murdered.

Hope Conor isn't too big of a favorite, gona be all over him if it's decent. Ogle is terrible. Also gona get on Uriah Hall, I think Rings fighting style suits him pretty well.

Adding 1.2u on Wilkinson/Rony Jason under 2.5r -120.

Anyone have any thoughts on Leonardo Santos v William Macario? I don't know anything about either.

Drysdale in UFC fighting Ednaldo Oliveira at 163

I'm heavily biased but will be dropping big units on Robert as soon as odds available. Last fight he went from -200 to -550 in a few hours. Then won in first again by sub (6th first round sub in 6 fights)

Just to be clear, I don't think ogle is a good fighter. Nor is going to stay in the ufc for long. However we have seen some pretty bad fighters with decent wrestling win fights vs much better fighters. And from what I see Connor has a bad build for wrestlers, so unless he has really good TDD, ogle may be worth a bet at +450 or better. And with Connors hype it may open at that.

As much as I dislike Faber's personality he's going to ROFLSTOMP Alcantara and make it look easy. Faber only loses to Barao and Cruz, he runs though everyone else in the division he's just at that awkward spot where he's clearly third best in the division.

Added a 2.5u parlay at around evens on Erick Silva/Anderson Silva/Frankie Edgar

Have Erick Silva to complete a 7 fight to win 1.2u parlay as well

Adding 2.5u on Rony Jason at -277 as well

Will probably add a similar bet on Markes

Not a huge fan of this card for betting overall

2.2u on Nelson at -214 vs Miocic as well.

Seems very mediocre to me bar Uriah Hall, however I always enjoy watching Reem and Lauzon fight. Just lacks that one killer match though :/

I'm pretty surprised you don't like the card,

Lots of these guys come out to fight I won't be shocked if it's one of the better cards of the year to watch.

The fights will likely be great but none of the fights are true main events...yet.

Faber should be able to outgrapple Alcantara based on what we saw when he faced Dias. However, Alcantara is a big time talent so I'm still very interested in this. Two exciting fighters to boot.

Alcantara won't win a round and it won't be competitive imo

Still, the fight makes sense with the rankings etc and i'd love to be proven wrong since seeing Faber lose makes me happy

Good call,

Rua Sonnen added as ME

anyone want to predict the opening line on rua-sonnen?

i'll take a stab. rua -155 / sonnen +120 (i could be way wrong, so feel free to tell me so)

it's an interesting matchup. shogun is a smallish LHW. and they are both 6' 1" tall.

ages:
chael - 36
shogun - 31

since chael doesn't lose decisions but does lose fights, maybe there will be value in shogun ITD and/or chael via decision.

is this a 5-rounder?

that would help chael a little, right?

I guess it depends on if Chael can get TD's right away. If he can 3 rounds is prob better.

Shogun -150?

I'd guess pickem or Chael slight favorite.

The event is in the US (Boston), so I guess that's better for Chael than Brazil.

Chael by decision sounds great pending odds.

Shogun will just gas on his back and i doubt he'll pull out a sub. Really don't think Shogun has looked good for years other than his fights with Machida (which may have been a stylistic fluke or something)

What he has left is insane toughness. But that wont win you rounds.

Wow suprised to see people guessing that Shogun will open as the slight favorite, I think it will be the opposite, and I think the true line is like Chael -186.
