also lol at 10-8 in the first rounds. You'd have to be ******ed to score it that way.

The takedown which led to 2 ground and pound strikes and 15 seconds of ground control after which AA got back up?

Not a robbery by any means but it definitely wouldn't have been a robbery either if AA got the decision imo

2/3 Sherdog judges scored round 2 and 3 for Arlovski, although they had it split decision for AJ due to different judges scoring r2 and 3 for him.

This was by no means a clear cut decision.

You know exactly how much a takedown scores with these judges.

I think fightmetric might have Arlovski winning. Could have gone either way. Without the KD in the first or the late takedown in 2nd i think Arlovski gets it.

Again lol Bas Rutten. Whoever think this guy is a good commentator, get a grip.

this. 2nd and 3rd could go either way. Saying it's "easy game" is plain ******ed and just result oriented.

Ya, so? My dog could probably win on any given card by putting his paws on the mouse and me accepting the bet.

Longevity my nugga.

super meaningful sample size

ive gotten owned the last few cards, but fortunately theyve been smallish to medium bets for the most part with exceptions of condit and ring, and ring was robbed and condit lost a close fight so meh w/e

fortunately i had that +16u card a few back so ive basically just lost that back over the last few

if arlovski won that fight it woulda been a robbery

Why? Rd 2 and 3 was basically even. Rd3 even leaning quite heavily towards Arlovski.

If not for that insignificant takedown in the second, Rumble loses this fight.

I think the line was close to accurate from what we saw.

arlovski did nothing. i had rumble being -200 lold when he was +120

He hit rumble with just as many shots in the 2nd and 3rd + elbowed him to the body for several minutes with Rumble resting against his penis.

I'm with this. I had Rumble in the third, he rocked Arlovski with some decent strikes, all Arlovski landed besides the one big clinch elbow were weak elbows to the shoulder. Scored 2nd for Arlovski, friend seemed to think Johnson had it though. Arlovski's lucky he even saw the decision after that first round, could have easily been called a TKO at the bell, dude was grasping for a single on the ref. If Rumble pulls a Hunt and turns and walks away it might be a TKO.

Johnson's gas tank continues to be an embarrassment, as someone else said any decent heavyweight is rolling these dudes.

Don't think there was big value either way, probably some on Johnson if you got him at + money. I got Johnson at -110, feel decent about it, regret not waiting but I didn't know which way late money would come after how much the line bounced around.

Now the big value was clearly on Branch lol, happy to say I had him for a 2-0 night. That was an embarrassing performance from Filho he needs to hang up the gloves ASAP. Probably the same for Simpson, I almost bet him, thought he would wrestle**** Burkman for sure.

so your saying if they had a rematch youd bet arlovski again? johnson has more power better chin better wrestling arlovski shots barely did anything

nooo... -1.5 U... oh well ... could've been worse I guess ^^ Actually thought if Arlovski loses it's probably by TKO within the first 7.5 Mins haha... almost... and he should've pushed the pace more... I mean his TDD was ok, i.e. Rumble too gased... but he just didn't do enough also ... there were some sloppy TD attempts where he just had to turn his hips + pull his leg out and could've come back with a huge knee because AJ was just leaning there lazily... but I guess not everyone can storm back in the third round like condit! XD Think AJ won that closely ... he was not doing much, but neither was Arlovski I guess... lol

don't think that is 'the best bet ever' tho here... if Arlovski is better conditioned he would've wooped that ass... ;D

One more thing I wanna add...this card makes you appreciate the UFC's production. Wow was that ever bad...no replay on the near KO in the Johnsons fight til the end of the fight? lol...

Arlovski have better boxing and a much better gastank.

I didn't bet on this card as i came in too late, but i don't think there's much value in either line.

Anyone thinking this was a steal betting rumble have views that differ heavily from mine.

which round was arlovski's jaw broken?

also, i was impressed with rumble's chin. arlovski landed a lot of shots and johnson seemed completely unphased. and arlovski has rocked a lot of heavyweights in his career.

btw... what do you think about the couture/pearson fight? +358 seems a little bit too extreme? Obv. Pearson should probably be the favourite, but he has alternated wins and losses in his last 6 fights? His TDD is quite ok and striking is quite solid also ... I think I gotta download some of Coutures fights and check him out... but I guess he should have a better chance than the ~20% the odds are at? KJ Noons (his last win) is not the greatest of fighters, but he definitely is a tough and crafty opponent. I guess betting smallish on W by Decision would be also interesting if the line is great... Would be interesting to hear some more about his father and the cornering issues... but his dad should prolly be able to formulate a good game plan.

Couture's been pretty average from what i've seen although if he can get Pearson down he has a chance. Standing he doesn't.

I think in hindsight evens is around fair for AJ AA

the couture/noons decision was really bad. one judge had noons 30-27. the other two gave it to couture 29-28. most of the media gave noons every round.

MEDIA SCORES
MMAJunkie.com 29-28 Couture
Jordan Breen
Sherdog.com 28-29 Noons
Adam Martin
Sportsnet.ca 28-29 Noons
Chris Nelson
Sherdog.com 27-30 Noons
Mike Whitman
Sherdog.com 27-30 Noons
Shaun Al-Shatti
MMAFighting.com 27-30 Noons
Brent Brookhouse
BloodyElbow.com 27-30 Noons
MMAWeekly 27-30 Noons

if not for that, couture wouldn't even be in the ufc.
