I'm on Condit because I think Hendricks is going to stand with him. If I knew for certain that Hendricks was going to come out at the beginning of every round and put 100% into securing takedowns, I'd feel differently.

Don't see him fighting a little more risk-aversely given whats at stake with a looming title shot? We have seen wrestlers do that before. I.e Rashad vs Rampage before Jones, Kosch/Daley before the GSP fight.

koscheck did fairly well against hendricks and he has sloppy standup.

Never felt like he had a chance to win though. Kosch could also neutralize Hendricks wrestling more than Conditt can.

Don't think Condit is getting rematch if he wins.

Generally speaking I don't really think fighters who rely on power punches as good fighters.

Most of them are sloppy technically and slow. They destroy people who are willing to brawl though. But it's easy to beat them if you come in with a good gameplan.

Mostly agree they can get overrated (i.e Shane Carwin at his peak) but still I do wonder if Hendricks knows his wrestling is his ace in the hole in this fight. He has a lot on the horizon if he can get past Conditt and may play it safe.

I'm still split on if I want to bet this, so far I only have Ring -120.

Props: Dillashaw ITD, Ellenberger KO, Ricci KO.

I'm kind of fascinated by the popularity of nick diaz. He's not your stereotypical "hero" character but he's developed a big fan following.

It's similar to in wrestling where for years all the good guys and bad guys were very black and white in their personas. Then along comes stone cold steve austin who acts like a villain almost but is viewed as a hero. I guess the correct term is an anti-hero.

He's really the only guy like that I can think of that acts like a villain but loved as a hero. Sonnen now too I guess but I always thought it was apparent he was trolling and he's a nice guy otherwise.

Stoked for Marq/Ellenberger and Condit/Hendricks too. Great card all around.

Made a parlay on Ellenberger/Dillashaw/Ricci/Condit. gogogogogogo

Mark Hunt isn't sloppy technically. Stefan Struve learned that the hard way

I think Hendricks will play it super safe and use wrestling to hold Condit down and take the decision, he has too much on the line to stand with Condit.

Edit: If he's stupid enough to stand condit will win

Let`s be honest here.. Big Rig gonna bang and Carlos always has his running shoes on the 1st.. 10-9 Barbapapa

2nd ... more running from Carlos but scoring to the legs and body , moving well and finding his ****ing range. 10-9 Carlos

3rd is gonna be interesting, this is when we see how much Hendricks has developped. He should wrassle but will he do it? Carlos has gas for weeks so he better Fitch that last one..actually he should honestly try to 30-27 hugfest this one but we all know thats not how he rollz.

Thing is, Carlos has so many ways to win this, Hendricks has that huge bomb and world class wrestling he never needs to use. Line should be at evens or Carlos a very small fav imo.

Will depend if he is smart enough to do so. Rashad could/should have done the same thing and we saw how that ended up...

It wasn't Rashads first chance for a shot at the title, just look at how condit changed his game vs Diaz I just cant see Hendricks risking it.

First shot is a big deal to the fighters

I don't think that is a good example. Struve's standup is super bad. It was tilting watching that fight.

Wait what? WTF? I'd be all over that. Nice bet sir. Probably true odds closer to +400 region with sub around the same and Dillashaw decision most of the rest of the time with 10%ish Tamura decision
