pettis has to earn his shot as WEC champ, Melendez should have to as well especially with the pettis/bendo back story

Diaz doesn't deserve an effective #1 contender fight, Maynard is closer than he is even. The problem with Maynard/Pettis though is maynard is coming off a bad performance himself, if Maynard lnps him then we lose the money match.

I think Pettis has earned his shot and give it to him, or at the very least dont book a fight for him yet since if Bendo or Melendez gets injured he can fight for the title or an interim title

Varner makes the most sense and very little risk of Pettis losing and ruining the money match if Bendo has to fight Melendez first

give melendez some step aside money, give titlefight to Pettis, Melendez fights someone top15 in his debut. if he wins = titleshot.

I def think he's earned the titleshot, and I even think he should have gotten it had he defeated Guida earlier. The only question now is, can he wait 5-8 months. I doubt White wants Pettis to be inactive for 5-8 months.
And yeah, Melendez doesn't deserve it imo, dude hasn't looked that impressive in Strikeforce and this is basically a freebi for Benson to up his defense of the belt to 3.

I think Maynard needs 1-2 more fights before he becomes a contender, the only one I can think of is Barboza that is 5-1 in his last UFC fights.

Barboza lost to Varner and has not beaten a top15, probably not even a top25 fighter in ufc.

Yeah, I'm not impressed by Glover at all, this Glover has no chance against Jones or someone like Machida.

Rampage got 2 of the last mins of 2nd round imo, dunno about the round, since he had a takedown and won much of 2-3min striking.

im probably going to fade teixeira in his next fight against anyone top 15 tbh especially if hes a fav - i'd imagine he'd be -180ish vs bader and I like bader at +160 or so, or machida would be -200 vs him which is a snapbet, and gustaffson maybe -160 which is also a snapbet, rashad id take at -150ish too
