I want Colby vs Wonderboy, I want to see how that pressure does against an elusive high volume counter striker

Sure he may be able to LnP him but that charging forward into WB comes with risk

Woodley seems too risk adverse in general and has throughout his career he needs to be willing to be taken down sometimes to land a shot on Colby's chin, or even shoot for his own TD occasionally

Starting to think Woodleys only hope is a takedown.

rooting for colby is rough, but these are nice rounds

Woodley looks so much better when hes moving forward he has to listen to his corner

Colby likes bullying guys, but he does not like being punched in the face or pressured back

Woodley basically has to KO him to win unless he has top position, so walk him down and trade

Feels like Colby was the bet here.

Woodley is done obv

Just realised Chimaev vs Colby may be in our future too. Would be down for that

If i'm Woodley's corner I def tell him to put it all into the first 30 seconds of r5 to maximise win % whether thats throw a flying knee or just wade forward throwing bombs

Random rib injury, ok then

Colby decision backers must be in shambles looked like a super lock all the way

Ugh can we not get Masvidal/Colby plz I don't want another 5 rounds of Masvidal being cageleaned and LnP'd although he Masvidal finished Colby with a flying knee i'd be so happy lol

I'm down for Usman to break Colby's jaw again I guess he really is an insufferable POS even though I know it's an act

usman finishes him even easier next time

Just outclassed from the get go. Imagine the difference between Woodley and Usman if Covington did this to him.

Cant wait for Chimaev to challenge these top10 guys.

I just realised Colby reminds me of Homelander from 'The Boys'

We saw the diff between Usman and Woodley when Usman dismantled him lol

Woodley may be one of the luckiest fighters of all time in terms of legacy, was on the way to losing both Wonderboy fights before a big shot late in the fight, winning a split against Gastelum etc

The Till fight was super impressive but he may have been lucky to catch Lawler on the tail end of his prime and get a favourable matchup with Maia who had no way to get it to the ground

This Trump promo is super cringy from Colby

Calls Lebron a coward, I mean lol, with some basic MMA training Lebron would break Colby in half, and Lebron makes Colby's annual salary every week. I'm trying to imagine if Lebron had trained in MMA his whole life, it would be ridiculous.

Woodley needs to go to Bellator or retire or at least fight guys outside the top 15 now, he just doesn't throw enough volume or shoot offensive takedowns it's like he's fighting to not get finished these days.

2/2 today, I did put a last second 0.05u sweat on Meerschaert just because it was such a long price but insignificant sizing

Time for Chimaev to get a step up in competition, i'm just disappointed Maia is being used as a stepping stone since i'm a big Maia fan and i'd imagine Chimaev just uses his wrestling to keep it standing

And now Colby beat him even worse than that. And Usman is seemingly another level of Colby.

Woodley needs to retire.

tbh Usman isn't really a level above Colby, the fight was legit close even though it ended in a finish some people had Colby up 3-1 etc

I do think Usman probably beats him in a rematch should have a mental edge after the first fight etc and he does have more ways to win

I guess if Burns beat Usman thatd be a fun fight too since Burns won't fear the ground with his elite BJJ so can strike with no fear against Colby etc

That would actually be a pretty fun fight too

I'm not sure Woodley need to retire but he does need to stop fighting top 15 fighters if he's going to keep fighting and either be a gatekeeper in the UFC to the top 15 or go to Bellator or somewhere where he can fight other guys who are 40

Ah, Stewart won in my eyes, would have scored huge in a parlay. Still got Walker, Chimaev and Covington so I'm happy, had Price in it but he drew and was removed, so won +3u tonight. Keep an eye on Stewart, he's a tank. Also keep an eye on Dvorak, super solid.

As for Walker, he's just too fumbly and whacky for me to confidently bet on him. He was getting pieced before getting lucky and landing some elbows on Spann. Cowboy surprised me tonight as well, looked like he truly went in to win, Price isn't that amazing.

Walker is one of those guys who will win or lose in spectacular fashion like Overeem most of the time

Should smash guys outside the top 15, and lose to most guys who are top 5 etc but he'll be an exciting fighter for years to come until his chin is completely shot etc that fight was fireworks for as little time as it lasted, had no idea who was going to win right until the end

I'll bet your parlay wasn't graded as a loss, though.
Seriously, is that standard? Or should I ***** and moan to Points Bet customer service that, at the very least, they should refund the bet.

If somethings a draw depends if its a 2 or 3 way market

If you can bet on draw and its 3 way itll be a loss, but if its a 2 way market standard rules are either a void or dead heat payout depending on the book

On Dern at 1.62 - In hindsight her performance against Ribas wasn't that bad considering how good Ribas has looked. Thought her hands have been looking better the last few fights and I don't think Randa can avoid grappling for 5 mins.

That's it for me, will probably fire a few live bets on the prelims if there is liquidity on the exchanges.
Woodley didn't ever look live for the KO.

Was glad that Randa jumped right into Dern's guard ASAP despite saying pre fight she wouldn't grapple

When I checked after the draw and before the final fight it was showing as $10 bet with -345 odds. So - my payout would have been about $12.

Gave me a cash out option for $9.17 which I took and then lost by betting on Woodley at +260.

As Swoop said - probably depends on if they had offered a draw bet. I have no idea if Foxbet (which I use) did or not.

Final results from last night was +5.37u, overall up 13.5u since I started in mid-May.

Anyone got any insight on next week, specifically Dawodu vs. Tukhugov? I'm passing on the main bout, looks like the immovable rock vs. the unstoppable force, although if I were to bet, I'd pick Izzy. Probably taking Reyes as well, although just looks like another crapshoot IMO.

I'd be shocked if Reyes doesn't win

Main i'm in the same place, lean Izzy but about 60/40 or so which is about where the lines are

Well, good news. I reached out to customer service and they, after a delay, came back to tell me I was wrong and that it had been graded as a partial win, LOL. Anyway, a happy ending!

I didn’t pull the trigger live betting and Colby already at -10,000 odds lol.

I have a question for all you sports bettors. If you win $600+ or more and you don’t get W2/1099 do you still have to report it? It says here you have to report it when you win $600 or more in one year...

https://www.rotowire.com/betting/faq...xable-babf5de0

So my question is... Why the **** do people still bother to gamble on this if we know we gotta give them a chunk of the pie when we risking our own money? Sure there’s way to write it off but you can only write off so much...

I’m asking cuz I’m up a good chunk and haven’t received a W2/1099 when I cashed out my bet slip at a casino or on sportsbook...Is it my job to report it even if casino and sportsbook never gave me any forms to fill out??

i wouldnt bet sports or play poker or do anything remotely gambling related if i had to pay tax, thankfully im canadian. never paid any tax on anything in 10+ years of doing it, i keep every cent.

seriously doubt many americans would report all their online winnings but who knows. i guess ur forced to at a brick and mortar. its unfathomable to me that anyone could still profit after tax and do it as a career, like a U.S live poker MTT grinder, maybe like 1% of players.

Betting markets are so efficient, and all books have vig, so after tax it's literally impossible to beat sports betting as an American. The only way it might be conceivable is if you access an exchange via a brokerage, and even then I'd doubt it.

You have to find a way to avoid the taxman. It's all you can do.

this weekend my parlays are all focused around reyes. he had a close fight with jones and i dont see how jan is going to beat him. reyes probably will finish him tbh.

isreal is technically speaking the best 185'r, costa has strength but izzy is just so fast i dont see how he will actually connect.... izzy prolly dances his way to decision victory. i see it going similar to gastellum fight, but with less punches landed.

looking at the other fights... also leaning toward hakeem dawodu. on 4 fight win streak and quite active. might be tough tho zubaira is no joke, but only fought 2 times since 2016 with 1 draw and 1 win.

incredibly fast turnaround for eubanks too lol. might even be a decent pick. shes against a 10-1 girl who lost last fight by ko and last win against cat zingano in 2018....

looking at royval as underdog, dudes been submitting people left and right, and sub'd tim elliot as his ufc debut coming from LFA. ill watch some tape on my picks and see if i can add more actual information.
