What a boring main event, wish Herb would have stood them up a time or two.

So sad, you can tell Smith's head wasn't in the game at all. Wish he kept it up in the air where he could have knocked him out, he was dead on the ground. Looked like he was just knowingly riding it out to a loss.

Oh well, at least my hedge came in. Nothing special.

Down just under 1u for me.

Lawler fight was the difference as it also lost me a Grasso-Lawler-Rakic parlay. Came close on a last minute .3u bet on Cifers KO at +1200 that woulda been a nice start to the night.

Rakić is so big, athletic, and powerful. Impressive performance by him. With that being said he bored me to tears and I was just begging for the fight to end. Thank goodness it was only a 3 rounder! Actually, less than 3 rounds since Rakić decided to quit fighting with 8 seconds left. I can't imagine Dana was too thrilled about that. Then Rakić says he wants a fight for the belt? Why should that happen? Because he just bored us to tears or because he's gone 1-1 in the last year? Sure, his loss was controversial but that's a title shot no fans are demanding right now. I'd like to see more fighting and less gamesmanship from him.

Super impressive performance by Magny. That really showed how the fight game has advanced past Robbie Lawler. I'm sure he won't, but I'd love to see him retire rather than being a punching bag stepping stone for these up-and-coming fighters.

Lawler looks done/ should prob retire, ever since he did that interview few years ago, when he said he takes souls or w/e and tried to look really tough or something, he got his ass handed to him literally every fight since!

lionheart, just lol, he tries to convince himself that he belongs, that he is a top contender and relevant, he says it in every interview, it's so unconvincing, like he doesn't actually believe it himself, which is why he needs to constantly say it.

His performance against Jones was pathetic and tonight it was very similar, curled up like a little baby most of the fight.

Magny looks magnificent still, I have undervalued you him but he's stepping up and the way he fights, he should be a problem for many fighters in that div, his length and his style, his cardio and strength makes him a dangerous fight for anybody in that div, though a good wrestler will likely eat him up.

Ended up with less than 0.1u on Smith ITD +500 and otherwise sat this one out, pretty happy with having done that

Smith and Lawler are finished. They both seemed concussed in their interviews and in their fights. Will be laying them if they ever fight again.

Lawler is pretty old and the Hendricks and Condit wars he had too a lot out of all three of them

It does suck to see our heroes get old, but time gets everyone

I have three distinct boxing memories.

First was watching Tyson knock out Spinks in 91 seconds. We were watching at a local horse track where they had it on PPV. Still one of my favorite boxing knockouts. Tyson was unstoppable at that moment in his career.

The second was making one of my first ever trips to Vegas in 1994 to see the Roy Jones Jr. vs James Toney fight. We had such a great time that whole trip and I cashed a nice bet on Jones.

The last was the time my brother-in-law and I ventured into a pretty nasty part of Philly to see fights at the Legendary Blue Horizon. It was mostly local pugs fighting 3 rounders, but Bernard Hopkins was the headliner pretty early in his career. What was awesome about that place was that the upper level seats were basically right above the ropes so you were looking down into the ring. If you spilled your beer you were at Rick of soaking the cutman at ring side. Such a great crowd and a good time. Bonus was my car didn’t get stolen.

I kinda like Costa to beat Adesanya, I guess im in the minority here, anybody else think Costa at 2.5 is a good bet?

Adesanya had real troubles with Gastelum and Costa looks bigger, stronger, more athletic, hits way harder, way more forward pressure, honestly he's just a much better version of Gastelum. Adesanya almost lost to Gastelum, it was super close fight, he got hit a lot in that fight and only narrowly scraped the victory imo.

Adesanya is a great fighter but he did get hit a lot, not the slick fighter he actually thinks he is, I do think he's overrated a bit and a bit of a hype train tbh. If Gastelum is putting him in so much trouble then what is Costa going to do to him, from memory Gastelum almost put Adesanya away, I'd have to rewatch but wasn't he stunned in that fight, no knock-down but def stunned and his face looked like he got hit by a truck, I don't know but 2.5 for Costa, it seems like value tbh.

I completely agree. Romero should have gotten the job done but he's a lazy fighter whom only picks things up in the final round. Costa whom is even bigger then Romero just runs at people (he even ran at Romero) and the shots that he lands puts everyone out it seems... except Romero but man he's durable.
The smaller cage will be a huge advantage and should move the line .50cents in Costas advantage. I'm leaning r1 KO for Costa and an outside chance that Israel KO's him in rd1 as well by catching Costa with the perfect shot as Costa's plowing forward with no respect.

Exactly, Romero just isn't that forward pressure fighter, he's much more content to wait and counter, and basically just kinda prays he catches you with a big bomb, while mostly losing every round, perhaps scared his cardio won't hold or w/e or he just is lulled into that kind of way of fighting.

Costa on the other hand, just lol, that guys forward pressure is just insane. You talk about him having no respect and I completely agree, he is fearless, he did it to Romero as well, and he took a few bombs and literally ate them, so that's 1 more reason why I like Costa, if Romero can't KO him, just how much of a chance has Adesanya got, granted that fluke perfectly placed on the button, is possible, it's just kinda unlikely imo. Costa has shown to have a great fkn chin.

The whole stick and move that Izzy is going to have to do, will only last for a round or 2, at which point he will become too fatigued to keep it up, at some point he will eat shots and he will eat many of them, because of Costa's way of fighting.

While this is somewhat a brawler vs technician, Costa is more than a brawler, perhaps not as clean a striker as Izzy but he's got pretty good stand up skills, great body shots and relentless, heavy head shots.

Gonna pass on Adesayna vs. Costa, neither of them are getting knocked out IMO and I believe it's going to be an evenly matched 5 round grueling battle. I do think the judges will say Costa looked better though during the fight, and probably give him the win.

Karol Rosa hospitalized due to extreme weight cutting.

Her opponent, Sijara Eubanks, was +130 before the lines were pulled.

How do you guys see the main event? I think I`m liking Sakai +140 but the price should continue to get better so gonna wait and see.

Would rather play Sakai live after round 2 given his style.

Don't like this card for betting nothing stands out.
Took two boosted prices which look decent.

Menifield KO in round 1 at 5.0
Overeem wins in round 1 or 2 at 4.5
