That accidental (was a kick) knee to the temple changed the entire fight.

Hmm ok so Weidman's striking has declined slightly more than I thought, his wrestling is still fine, his cardio is worse than I thought gassing in r2 but on the plus side his chin is better than I thought and he did manage to dig deep in the third and secure the TD he needed to win the fight

Solid card for me 2/2 Weidman and Dariush

Nice display of heart from Chris but man did he look gassed in round 2, really didn't see that coming in round 3. Well deserved win but he really needs to work on that cardio if he wants to beat top 10 level guys.

Tiny 0.05u Oleinik bet just so I have someone to cheer for, did like that side initially til weighin etc

and yeah, Weidman needs to get out there and run some marathons with the Diaz brothers or something if he wants to compete against the elite of the division at any point in the future, he can still beat guys outside the top 10-15 though obv

His skills are as good as they'll get at 36 he should be putting training time into cardio moving forward

Won 2u for the card regardless since the Oleinik bet tiny and was on Dariush and Weidman to win a unit each

I'm on Lewis, hope he can beat the boa!!!

Lewis been improving, I just can't bet against him when all things are on the up and up!

Pretty much how the fight should go a lot, close sub attempts for Oleinik then gets hulk smashed

Lewis/Ngannou 2? lol

I guess Ngannou gets the DC/Stipe winner esp if it's Stipe since DC prob retiring if its him

Oleinik wasted a lot of time on that scarf hold, should have been working for a choke or kimura/armbar

Insane win by Lewis, HW fighting like he's a flyweight!

Lewis is gonna be a scary beast of a man if he gets in Ngannou style shape at 250 given he's basically been overweight his whole career

lol at 'couldnt breathe much in whatever that head choke he had me in is' Lewis is a great interview

Great weekend for me. chandler, Kunitskaya, Lewis, with half unit wins on Sanchez (hedged with Turman rd 3) and Tucker. Half unit loss on holtzman but fine with the fight he d’ed up takedowns fine. Fight doesn’t go to a decision in Lewis/oleinik -900 too but couldn’t bet much there. Seriously would have bet my roll on that if I could have.

I can see scenarios where it goes the distance when both guys are half gassed after a couple rounds

Should have got on Dariush and Weidman but for me now the odds are probably where they should be.

Got Weidman at 1.91 to finish a double bet (parlay) with Brunson so happy with that.

GL if your betting live will watch the card when I get up tomorrow.
Run good continues 2-0 and cashed the double bet.
Kunitskaya looked like she should have been 1.2 wish I'd gone bigger but hard to go heavy on mid level wmma.

Weidman looked ok, grappling still very good but his gas tank since USADA has looked suspect. Good to see him pick up a win though.

I ended up down 1/2 a unit.

Saved from a big loss by degening a late Weidman - Lewis parlay and a Weidman bet. Bets that in hindsight I wish I had thought more about were Staliarenko and betting a Holland rd 1 KO at only +174. Bets that worked out were my Lewis Rd 1-3 hedge bet, Zalal Rd 3 or dec, and Dariush.

Total result since mid-May up 3.6u

Early thoughts on Stipe/DC? I favor Stipe, DC hit him with everything he had in the 2nd fight and couldn't get him out of there. Now that Stipe is over the psychological edge, I think he has the striking edge, can use the distance and eventually get DC out of there.

DC says he is going to wrestle more this time around, I'm not sure. Tough to wrestle at HW, takes a lot of energy.

i think stipe too. not like he's gonna relearn his defensive guard and be able to stop the body shots. dont think dc has the cardio to really wrestle for 5 rounds either despite how hard he said hes working

Smaller octagon I heard, should favour DC probably as he's better in close/wrestling, he did win every round the two have fought basically til he slowed down and Stipe adjusted and wrecked him with the body shots

If DC is really mentally 100% focused to win I give him a slight edge, if he's got one foot out the door he won't win but if he truly wants this for his legacy I think he's a small fav

Gonna be interesting to see what fights are made next at HW regardless of the outcome

damn where did The Chris get the extra round 3 energy. he looked like he was fading hard in the end of the 2nd. still hedged him and broke even basically, would have made bank on omari judges tho. starapoli cost me also. ive said it before but i gotta avoid some of these.

Took some Dvalishvili, DC and Pichel for this weekend's card

Small so far can't get on big yet but will see

and yeah, that Weidman comeback was impressive he looked pretty gassed after two, but managed to dig deep and get the TD and lock in a dominant position

Not sure what to make of Weidman after that fight, think it depends what type of opponent he gets next. His chin is better than we thought, but his cardio is probably worse and he's lucky Akhmedov was a decent stop down in competition from the elite. Weidman did show some nice heart to rally in the third there though would have been easy to mentally quit

Jim Miller is younger than Vinc Pichel

Didn't expect that one
