They both can throw lots of volume. Sterling should have better wrestling and a better ground game although Sandhagen could be dangerous there as well.

Overall, I think Aljo should be a bit better pretty much everywhere at this point in their careers. I wouldn't be shocked if Sandhagen won simply because he is an improving fighter that is very unique, but I'm definitely going with Aljo on this one.
Ding ding ding. Not ready for primetime.

Staying away from the Cody fight, but went with the over 1.5r for 1.50. Think Cody should edge it but his fight IQ really bothers me, he's obv better in the striking but he's facing a very smart fighter!

So the over 1.5 seems like a good bet, especially as Assuncao is hard to hit.

Adding a small sweat Cody by dec.

Exactly what I was envisioning, Cody too fast and picking him apart from the outside. Hoping he can keep it up for 3!

Ya I win small for the card regardless of medium for the card if Nunes finishes

Pretty happy with my Nunes ITD -162 let's do this

Sick KO by Cody, he fought smart, and very happy with my -133 with how fight played out

Ah well lost more bets than I won, but won small for the card by virtue of my Cody bet being bigger than all my others combined

Onto the next one

cody and nunes made me a lot of money. that KO was nutty. i was right about spencer being tough and she survived the full 25 @+300.... huge sweat at the end of the 4th round tho. good thing nunes just lay on her for most of the 5th.

sandhagen was a disappointment tho.

Started looking at this weekends card and bet Darrick Minner at 2.70.

Looked at Eye vs Calvillo and its a tough one really. Be happy to get either side at 2.2 or above. I rate Marina Rodriguez and was impressed with how Calvillo gutted through that fight to dominate the third round.

Eye is the more polished striker of the two and will win rounds as long as its standing and she has shown decent grappling defence. It is 5 rounds though and Calvillo is likely to make this a dog fight. If she can tire Eye then she can takeover the later grounds with her grappling.

If Calvillo keeps drifting then I'll likely bet her.

No real leans for the rest of the card.

Think Tecia Torres looks too big on the card after this one and Ribas probably should closer 1.1 then 1.2 to beat PVZ. She wrecks Paige everywhere probably going to be my biggest bet of the year but I don't want to tie up money this early.

i'm happily taking eye here i think, but that's just my initial gut reaction. nothing to base that on. prob taking aguilar too. i liked minner initially but price drifted to where i'm off it. he seems to be dangerous early but fade hard if he doesn't get an early sub. doesn't seem particularly durable or safe as a grappler.

I just saw that Usman will defend the title against Burns in July. Honestly, I'm not surprised that Masvidal ducks Usman, because of all his excuses and apologies he has made so far. I'm not sure, but I think he's the first fighter in MMA history to turn down a title shot. It's so embarrassing...

Masvidal is neither the first fighter to turn down a title shot nor is he ducking anyone. This is normal with the UFC. It makes sense they are having trouble getting him to sign considering he is a bigger draw than Usman.

In case you didn't notice, the UFC is having a lot of difficulty getting it's biggest names to sign on the dotted line. Stipe spent the last few months firefighting (?!?) rather than fighting and they just now got his fight signed. Cejudo retired and vacated the belts. Jon Jones is threatening to vacate his belt. Conor McGregor just announced his retirement. Masvidal is holding out. These guys want a bigger slice of the pie.

I really like Eye vs Cavillo, and I've faded Eye quite a few times already, as I was less than impressed with her but her last 4-5 fights she's really grown on me. Cavillo is not on Eye's level imo.

Eye is the much smarter fighter imo, I don't think Eye is at a disadvantage in the cardio department, she's got better boxing and good wrestling.

I am betting Roberson to beat Vettori, so this is a step up for Roberson but at 2.7 I think skill wise they are similar, only perhaps Vettori has more experience and has fought better competition.

Thinking Fili, and Nam as well

After watching more tape I am going back on my original opinion and think you guys are right favoring Eye.

Although Calvillo is good on the ground she is not that not great at getting people down there. She really struggled with Casey and and pretty much abandoned her grappling after she was stuffed a few times.

Also she is going up in weight for this one and she wasn't really strong for 115. Eye's wrestling is good enough to stifle her. Then on the feet she has power, technique and reach advantage.

And Cavillo struggled with cardio herself, plus she's a dumb motha****a too, which plays a bigger role than I have been giving it credit.

i bombed avila and agapova. this agapova-cifers fight is insane. cifers is a bad, tiny, 115er, now shes moving up to fight a big 125er on short notice. agapova has been exploited by powerful top grapplers before, but she's a skilled striker, she seems tough, her top game is good which will trouble cifers if it goes there. she also fights long with kicks, which will be even harder for cifers to get close. i've moved the line pretty hard but i think you should still bet it at -340. this fight is ****ing insane that they made it. also took a pop on julia avila at a wide price. think gina is basically drawing dead. no chance she wins even 1/10. worse at literally everything than avila and avila is tough as nails and avila hits hard a truck for women's mma. got some other stuff too but those are two i'm done betting.

no people always overreact to bad weight cuts. fish move. bombs away. i might be worried if calvillo was gonna put a pace on eye, but eye is pretty good cardio wise. it might be detrimental, but she also might just end up way bigger and stronger than calvillo. i love getting eye at +114.

Gonna tail Joe P's Avila and Agapova mix of straight and ITD etc

edit: couldn't find a decent prive on Avila so will leave it I guess, got Agapova straight -333 and ITD +188 though thatll do

gl all not much I like this card

double edit: managed to get a boosted parlay with both of them straight up too.

Let's go ladies

It does feel like mismatches may be even bigger in WMMA when there's no real KO or sub threat on one end

Wound up with

Agapova -333
Agapova ITD +188
Agapova/Avila parlay -196

latter two being smaller sizings

glgl
