I don't get everyone writing off Chiesa at all, I don't mind him at +200ish but not betting it

Same with JDS in the main at +2xx sure Blaydes is a monster and prob takes him down and wins via GnP but on the feet JDS is a fav and it's HW etc

No bets for me today but I don't hate the dogs in main/comain the way a lot of people do

blaydes only losses ever are to Ngannou which is fine, but dos santos even tho hes old is still kinda scary.

blaydes should wrestle and GNP him hopefully, just standing with santos is dumb as **** as i hope he doesnt do that.

i have a few chiesa/blaydes parlays just in case. hes definitely live against RDA but it wont be easy.

I don't even understand how Chiesa got this fight vs the #5 contender. Just because he dominated 2 past their prime fighters? Carlos Condit is 2-8 going way back to 2012.

prolly due to RDA losing 3 of his last 4. giving cheisa a chance to springboard up off a big name.

or possibly giving RDA an easier fight than ****in Usman and Covington haha who are both wrestling demons.

Yeah but Chiesa is unranked. It's like he's calling his own shots ever since Conor threw a dolly at his head.

Wow blaydes is strong as ****. really hung with him on the feet and then the TKO finish....

junior stopped all his takedowns so i guess it was his only choice!

a really stellar day in terms of profit for me today

If Derrick Lewis wins his fight in 2 weeks, the UFC should have him face Blaydes next.

RDA is definitely past it didn't see the fight yet but glad I was right about Chiesa

I did see the main and yeah, JDS is also past his prime but can still beat mid level guys so he'll hang around as a gatekeeper but Blaydes is clearly top 4 in the division after DC/Stipe/Ngannou

Blaydes will be a top 5 HW for years unless his chin gets cracked

Man if RDA just circled off the cage in that fight he would have pieced up Chiesa so frustrating to watch. Going to be fade material if he keeps on fighting.

Big bet on Cyborg won and Budd had very little for her apart from some success pushing her against the cage.

Think Blaydes is live against everyone, Ngannou seems like his kryptonite but I think its likely we see a trilogy fight between these two in the next two years.

that bellator mvp thing was really good, with out those guys this world would be a sht show, maximum care 22 down to 0 at the soonest. people with the highest real worth merit value actually feel worthless.. long overdue

Dominick Reyes is going to get stopped, Valentina is going to peice Katlyn a new one, Lewis advanced in fighting at a distance and awareness about space so should deal with Latifi who is a brick sht house but limited in closing the distance, lewis is nimble for such a big dude and has a sneaky eye so should find some good ways to hurt Latifi, possible end by ko r3

Easier said than done. Mostly we just saw how terrible someone's wrestling has to be to be taken down 34 times in the last 5 fights. RDA often got the better of the wrestling at LW but now that it's been exposed at WW everyone and their dog is taking advantage of it.

Also, we've probably been underrating Chiesa's wrestling.

No clue this fight happened. Forgot Cyborg is no longer in the UFC.

In Blaydes, I see a fighter that continues to show improvement and looks to be on his way to a championship one day. In Ngannou, I see a fighter that is live vs anyone because of his KO power, reach and athleticism but in terms of being a skilled MMA fighter he has shown very little. I actually think Ngannou is the most overrated fighter in MMA right now and I don't think he even beat Blaydes cleanly in their last fight.

I'm a big RDA fan but this match only highlights what I said after his last fight at WW. He's too small and can't compete with wrestlers being that outsized. Chiesa looked better at 170 and RDA never looked worse so he could also be slowing down career wise.

155 or quit imo.

I vote 155, but no reason to throw him against top guys. He should be fighting lower level guys because his career is slowing down (of course if he wins then he'll move up).

Anyone think dom has a chance vs jones?

his gas tank is questionable and hes not the most technical. i think with jones you gotta be strong in both. sure he has power but jones has pretty much never been cracked hard. vitor had the best chance VS his arm. lol

He hits hard so there is always the chance he lands something big.
The fight against Volkan showed where his level is currently and this fight seems to have come a bit too early.

Would love to see Jones get knocked out but think its likely he dominates after the first round.

Thiago Santos showed how to beat Jones don't get taken down walk through his range pressure and exchange with power - the only other alternative is what his did the first fight and beat him at range with technique and keep it standing Machida was doing ok in R1 but was too small.

Reyes isn't the guy to beat him but obv we all always want Jones to lose

Santos might have beaten him if he didn't get an injury mid fight

I think when Jones loses its because someone manages to walk him down and land bombs on his chin or if we get a Wonderboy or prime Machida style fighter who is just as big as Jones and has TDD and can outpoint him at range

Not getting taken down by Jones is easier said than done. The only reason Thiago didn't get taken down is because Jones chose to stand with him. That was pure hubris on Jones' part. He only had 1 takedown attempt in the entire fight and that was when he caught Thiago's kick in round 1.

If anyone in the division can keep it standing vs Jones I think it's Reyes. I'm just not sure he has the standup ability to win a decision. He may, but I can't give him the benefit of the doubt given what we have seen from him so far. Getting inside Jones' range sounds all fine and good but then you have to avoid his extremely dangerous elbows. Before getting injured Thiago did a very good job of moving in and out and staying elusive.

I actually think on paper Reyes is one of the toughest matchups for Jones in his career. However, the odds (even at -500) kind of already reflect that.

Not many fights I like for next week's card but ufc fight night 167 looks pretty decent, I think I'll bet Reyes but not hopeful, but at those odds, why not right.

Leaning Mirsad, need to watch some tape though.

I'm leaning Lewis but not at all confident, while Latify is a gasser and he is severely undersized, this matchup is pretty good for him, he seen how easy Cormier beat him, he could do similar, might bet him at 3.25. The fight will be at a snail's pace anyway, and Latfiy will be able to dictate the fight, so the more I think about it, the better I like this match up for him, I think he gets it done to be honest.

FN 167, I like quite a few dogs on this card:

Can you give me 1 good reason not to bet Blachowicz at 2.8? Sure Corey is decent but this is closer to a flip em, right?

What about Vannata at 2.1? Seems like decent value vs Yancy "no chin" right?

Dodson at 2.3? Again, give me a good reason not to bet him here?
