great wide shot of the crowd enjoying themselves back few minutes ago, looks like a women's touch in the tv truck that really knows what she is doing.

Edit: Pereira can afford to lose a fight and tighten up his game, push more of the energy into the fight vs the theatrics, his left hook to the body over hand right to the head got sussed.

Didn't get to watch the card looks like I went 2-2 with a NC but crute made a mistake and sherdog scored the Krylov fight unanimously for him so I probably got unlucky there

Made a small loss for the card as the bets that lost were slightly bigger on average. I really should have bet some gaethje R1 KO as well as straight up but ah well

Any must watch fights other than the main event? Gonna watch some of the fights now

Michel Pereira vs Tristan Connelly is must watch for sure.
Sakai vs Tybura
Todd Duffee's fight doesn't last too long.
Skelly vs Griffin was fun
First 2 rounds of Uriah Hall vs Carlos jr probably worth watching (3rd round definitely not)

That tends to happen when you dance all the way to the Octagon and then start break dancing in the Octagon and then do flips during your fight.

I didn't score the Texeira/Krylov fight but 12 out of 16 media outlets had it in favor of Texeira. Crute had an opportunity to get to his feet but instead decided to throw a punch at the head of Cirkunov who was standing while Crute was still sitting on his butt. That's a very low fight IQ and is the sort of mistake that should be expected of a 23 year old fighter.

Thanks for the recommendations watched the main my main take away is well we know Cerrone doesn't like pressure fighters but gaethje hadn't convinced me he'll beat any if khabib Conor or Tony

Will catch the others later

where the hell is the fight library on espn+? i have it and fightpass but i can't find the recent fights. i end up having to put on a vpn or using shitty quality sites like mma-core to do film. it only lets me go back so far on the dates to view the replays.

glover def won imo, i don't even think it was thatttt close. a lot of people had round 2 scored for glover which i thought was a fairly clear krylov round, but 1-3 seemed pretty decisive.

ESPN+ has a lot of flaws. I watch it on my computer or television and there is no easy way to skip fwd or backwards which is a pretty critical feature when watching sporting events IMO. I heard this feature exists on the mobile app though.

As for the library, it's a mess as well but the best way I know to find an event is to search for it by competitors in the main fight.

If I search Dos Anjos Edwards and look at replays the first result is a soccer game between Butler and SIU. Then the next 4 events are in Spanish (because why wouldn't you always put the Spanish events first when most of your audience is English speaking). Finally the 6th item in the list is what I'm looking for...or perhaps not. Maybe the 10th item in the list is what I'm looking for.

The reason for the confusion is that rather than listing the event as "UFC Fight Night Dos Anjos vs Edwards (Prelims)" it is listed as "UFC Fight Night presented by Modelo: Dos Anjos vs Edwards..." (name is too long) The photo of the 6th item listed has Bruce LeeRoy in it so I have to assume that is the prelims and the 10th item is the main card. Only way to know for sure is to open up the particular event and it will be lsited on the bottom.

On a positive note, it appears ESPN+ adds PPV replays approximately 2 weeks after the event. So tomorrow you will be able to access UFC 242 Khabib vs Poirier. It appears they have PPVs going back to UFC 236. (just search UFC 236 or whichever event # you are looking for).

love ufc

just have to say it, production quality is not stagnate,
fight match ups are interesting and get more so
quality venues
quality commentary.
the camera control, camera positioning, feed control pace, just totally on time and on spot making the watcher a true part of the event, notch got raised some one spent some money or changed some thing.

human body, its expression, not some thing to shy away from, health, sports, simulation or execution of combat, these are GOOD healthily things for mind body spirit and well being, never forget that any one outside or in

fair play ftw.. issues of the day are eye pokes, massive blows post ko, and stupid antics post win

For me the man of the moment is Jorge Masvidal

Its all about lining him up now, getting him in the cage with a suitable foe,

What people need is like a yearly or even life time subscription, you pay it... $25/50/75 a year, and you can watch all events... some thing like this.

UFC is the sport for the next 100 years, clean, legit,

Glover Teixeira beat Nikita Krylov,
I lost my money but I respect the judgement, 9 times out of 10 the same is not true for boxing.

Long live UFC, honesty in the arts.

Would not change a thing at the moment, would be nice to have Dan Hardy come up into a big event (commentary), he is humble, super smart, on time on point and put more than enough skin into the game, give the guy a big event to commentate or am I wrong and he did a main event recently?

Ufc is total saturation of awesome, all they need to do is just make the most sublet of small changes and error on the side of helping fighters.. and they are set for decades.

Great Interview!

that's basically unusable then for betting purposes. will just suffer through slower loading times with my **** vpn on fight pass.

There is a fast forward and rewind on the apps, just no skip. On the computer you can jump ahead by pointing and clicking with your mouse but it can be a huge pain if you just want to skip forward a bit or replay something that just happened.

yeah i was struggling to go back. say i wanted to rewatch an exchange, i'd click and be like ten minutes before where i started cause the total video was 4 hours or whatever.

as for this week i kind of hate everything just cause of the fact it's mexico city. i pretty much pass on betting any huge favorites just cause of the chance they implode in the altitude.

think i like kyle nelson (though his big weakness has been cardio) and maybe grasso. stylistically nelson should be a problem for polo reyes but hopefully the fight doesn't drag on too long. vinicius moreira/ paul craig is the fight i'm absolutely dying to see. hopefully they can both simultaneously knock each other out off of 7 mph spin kicks.

i haven't watched anything on askar askarov yet, so i'll do that.

Two bets for tommorrow.

£100 on Stephens at 1.94
£100 on Hill at 1.74

I like the fact that Stephens has been training at high altitude for a month with Tony Ferguson. Think he is a much more solid fighter then Yair and the power in his hands should make difference. Stephens is also a solid leg kicker which should slow Yair down over the course of the fight. Yair might knock him out with some crazy s*** but I think Stephens should be around the 1.75-1.8 range.

Watched tape on Hill's opponent Carnelossi and was not very impressed. She throws a lot of volume but is very sloppy. Like a much lesser version of Jessica Andrade. From what I have seen Hill is a level above and should be able outstrike her comfortably.

Seen a few other decent MMA bettors on Kyle Nelson so might also get on that tomorrow if the odds keep drifting.

Nothing for me this card so far, I sort of wanted Esparza but saw the size difference and passing

Can't decide on Stephens/Rodriguez so leaving it alone.

I think Eubanks TKO at +375 might be value. Haven't fired it yet but I might. She's 36 and was KO'd cold by both Rousey and Holm and Eubanks has some power for WMMA

Was looking at UFC 243 and interestingly Jamie Mullarkey is making his UFC debut - he's 12-2 but one of the losses was to Volkanovski which is obviously nothing to be ashamed of, I happened to watch his debut event (Brace 23 in 2013) live as it was on locally where I was living at the time and thinking wow this guy is really good for a guy making his pro debut.

feel like o/1.5 in craig/moreira seems good. both guys love getting knocked out but neither guy is anything even resembling a finisher on the feet.
