Pretty sure Ngannou might just hulk smash Jones if they ever fought I can't imagine Jones wanting that fight, Ngannou has size and reach and power. Would be like nothing he's ever faced before and Jones would be a smallish HW even though he's big for LHW, I can't imagine Jones coming in above 240 while maintaining his skillset and he'd probably be more like 230. Jones could bulk up but he might lose some of his speed if he did or cardio.
Thiago Santos is the first wade forward and trade power shots guy he's facing sinc he somehow never fought Rumble (who wanted to wrestle vs DC wtf) but Santos is a ton smaller than Ngannou and probably has a weaker chin too
That said I can't wait for the Santos fight because the best way to beat Jones is to walk him down and throw bombs, and if one lands we may see Jones in trouble for the first time (and if not obv Jones wins easily, but Jones wins easily against everyone, so maximising punchers chance is probably the best play for Santos, wade in ready to eat a shot to throw one)
I bet on Masvidal, but in hindsight I don't love my bet to be honest. Askren's a great wrestler and he's a specialist who on paper can certainly grind out the win. I do feel like Masvidal is a much more complete fighter and who actually has very good TDD and defensive wrestling, a good submission game and great striking, but none of that may end up mattering if Askren can just impose his will on him. We will see. Part of me thinks that Masvidal is just going to find a way to win this one, and part of me thinks that Askren is just too good of a wrestler and I'm an idiot for fading him, but either way I think this is going to be a very close fight and a nail biter.
I've got Marshman, Blachowicz, Masvidal, and Thiago Santos at +600 (thanks Westgate :-). Also have some props. If Marshman, Blachowicz, or Santos wins I'm going to be very happy, have a huge bet on Blachowicz and have really good odds on Marshman and Santos.
Luke Rockhold is an arrogant prick and dumb as a f*cking fence post, and I think that may prove to be his undoing against Blachowicz, but we will see.
