Barboza hasn't really got power in his hands, if he did it would be the easiest money ever, a he is just much more skilled everywhere.

People saying he will break, I don't buy it, he has been in wars and even when Khabib was crushing him, he still carried on unlike Conor who just took the easy way out!

Both have been in wars, so I don't think Gaethje has an advantage as a fresh fighter or w/e. But the fact that Barboza doesn't have much power in his hands does worry me a bit, but fack it, lets go.

Poirier got him, Alverez got him, I think Barboza is also a step up, he got enough skills to beat him!

Would hedge with a Gaethje finish by KO in R3, 4 and 5!! I think he might have a slight stamina edge and can see him getting a finish if it goes into later rounds

Gaethje is Barboza's kryptonite style wise; a guy with a chin who likes to get on the inside and pressure and trade. Barboza's chin can be cracked if he's pressured; Gaethje did just that.

Interesting Gaethje says he has no nerves and never feels nervous or scared; most fighters talk about massive nerves/adrenaline pre fight. Makes sense with his fight style.

Just realise I haven't seen a couple of Gaethje's fights so def gonna go watch them all sometime midweek

Nice pick. I wasn't sure how that would go but I favored Karolina slightly. Karolina is who she is though and will likely always be that same fighters, whereas Waterson continues to evolve and show great improvement.

Yeah that was one of the most out of nowhere KO's I've ever seen. I was already trying to figure out where Michael Johnson would be ranked after knocking off #10. Feel bad for him.

His opponent is a decent striker knocked out Folayang before who was the One FC champ until Aoki beat him today. I hope we start getting more bookies offering odds for One the level of competition is decent at the lower weight classes.

Ex UFC fighters are always going to be overvalued when they go fight in other organisations. Benson Henderson was a decent favourite to Koreshkov in his debut fight in Bellator which was mad.

Even the guy Mighty Mouse fought put up a better fight then most of MM UFC opponents. Plus you have the fact that there is no USADA testing in One. Be interesting to see the odds we get when Northcutt debuts if we get any at all,

There are many cases of overvaluing UFC guys when they go to Bellator (Koreshkov vs. Benson, as you mentioned, being the most extreme example)....

Benson was also -450 against Patricio Pitbull and was getting destroyed before Patricio broke his leg on a check, completely shot Koscheck was -250 in his Bellator debut, Josh Thompson was -250 against Patricky, Larkin -200 against Daley, -170 against Lima...

The top tier of orgs that can pay is right up there with the UFC, it's just that the talent level falls off a cliff by time you get to the 6-10 best guy in any given weight class.
