Expected Crowder to do much better, but I'm still happy, hopefully Hardy got fatigued enough now. But Crowder acting like a****ing boxing bag, ****** fight IQ.

What happens to prop ko/sub bets for round 2?
MMA Thread Quote
01-20-2019 , 01:17 AM
Sweet all my bets got returned (even the R1 and R3 props)and the R2 gave me the big win! Would of been so much bigger as I bet the subs/ko for Crowder, I think he would of gotten 1 or the other in R2/3.

I always thought that if a champion moves down in weight for a 2nd belt he should put his own belt up for grabs too..for just this reason, now they have to run back again whether the fans want to see it or not.

i mean it should have happened at 135 imo anyway and i think its a good fight too.

So what is the verdict on why that happened?

Cejudo looked so explosive even before he landed the shot, looked quicker.

TJ's chin just **** at 125?

Nice end to the main card for me, $1,744 profit for the first UFC event of 2019.

Glover bet is a bit risky as he is obviously declining and has looked slower in the last few fights. But given his grappling advantage and the fact that Roberson is taking it on short notice makes me think this is value.

On the feet Glover will probably get smoked but his chin still appears to be decent and if you look at his wrestling against Cannonier and Cirkunov. Then he obviously has the ability to implement a grappling heavy takedown.

I really rate Geoff Neal, Belal is tough but I think Neal could be top 10 within a few fights and he should have the edge everywhere in this fight.
2-0

Good start to 2019.
Really impressed with Geoff Neal fights really smart and is super athletic. Be interesting to see who he fights next.

Looked rough early for Glover but did what he needed to do.
Glad to see Cerrone finish Hernandez in style was a great fight.

Looked to me like he got grazed in the back of the head much like GSP did which really stuns people. Didn't really take a big shot on the feet.

I agree it should have happened at 135. The idea of moving down to win a belt is dumb. It's mostly an exercise in weight cutting.

I'm fine with this fight happening again, but what if it had been a super boring fight. What if Cejudo had a dominant performance where he just laid on TJ for 5 rounds. Nobody would want to see a rematch but they'd pretty much have to do it.

And now, TJ wants to rematch at 125lbs and both Dana and Henry seem open to that possibility. So if that fight happens and Henry destroys him again, he's going to have to beat him a 3rd time to get TJ's belt. It's silly.

On a side note, TJ said he felt better going into that fight than he has in a long time.

Cowboy looked for real last night. The biggest issue with him is he has been known to quit/stopped very early in fights against the initial storm. If he can brave that then the fight is going to be his as it takes him a while to find his range. Excellent performance and I bet on him in r2/r3 while hedging ko for Hernandez r1.

Glover on top is so heavy for people. His mass driving down on you is enough to have opponents just give him the sub.

Paige and Ostovich are just top 10 opponents regardless of all the ctits and whistles.

Congrats on the guys that picked Bermudez... his opponent should be cut from the UFC. He basically mentally collapsed after not getting the KO in rd1. Truly a terrible fighter and Bermudez should be ashamed for not getting that can out of there.

If Conor is -200 or better vs cerrone that's a serious shove cerrone will have nothing for him standing and probably gets knocked out in the first. very smart call-out by Conor gets Tony khabib out of the way and he can call out the winner off a win and the cowboy fight will sell since he's popular and is as low risking a ranked opponent as Conor can get

I mean its an interesting fight but its also just a tune up fight for conor. Like no way does cowboy ever win the LW title cuz khabib most likely wont lose it for a long time. so its kinda meaningless long term.

i was also gunna say it might be a hard sell too but then i remembered you can put conor vs wool blanket and it would sell a few hundred k PPVs.
