Iaquinta's been submitted 3 times and never TKO'd. He's going to get taken down a lot. It's 5 rounds. Khabib has a pretty similar number of TKOs and SUBs and will likely take the path of least resistance. I mean yeah he could easily get a TKO stoppage too, but +250 is way too good a price to turn down imo especially when Khabib ITD is -2xx and I think a sub is more likely than a TKO

Khabib would 50-42 Ortega or win by TKO due to GnP. Yeah, he has amazing subs, but so Khabib is still one of the best grapplers in the UFC and Ortega would be at a size disadvantage and he's used to fighting guys who are smaller than him. I guess Ortega might catch Khabib 1 in 10 fights each with a big shot or a sub but he'd get absolutely mauled. Khabib -500 imo. It has the same sort of appeal as Khabib vs Maia though and i'd watch it (although with our luck Khabib vs Maia would turn into a sloppy kickboxing fight)

Dana announces if Iaquinta wins he's the new champ despite the 0.2 pounds, he didnt weigh in w no underwear etc not knowing he had to make 155 exactly - commission won't recognise it but it makes sense with them stripping Conor and stripping Ferguson of the Interim that if he beats Khabib they'll just make Ferguson vs Iaquinta for the real belt. I wonder what the hell they do if Khabib wins and Conor's out for a year or more due to suspensions/jail/etc. Do they attempt to make Khabib vs Ferguson 5? lol

He got 3 misdemeanors, didn't even get charged with a felony so I doubt he goes to jail. He probably gets a 6 month suspension and still fights in late 2017.

Al Iaquinta vs. Jorge Masvidal was a great fight to see just how much heart Al Iaquinta has, he got lit up and cut in the first round but went on and outworked the better boxer with bigger size, he wont be a match for Khabib thou who is going to compact his already small frame down and that will be all she wrote, but he is no bum by any stretch the imagination,

last fight KO of Diego Sanchez is about as impressive as ordering a soya lattie from star bucks as it pertains to any thing, but a decision win over a strand up guy Jorge Masvidal, KO Joe Lauzon, ko Ross Pearson, being a Purple belt under Matt Serra who is Diana whites right hand man, so this match up has under tones like its known Al is good enough to make it completive... but ultimately this fight wont put in danger the mega money fights further down the road. This match up is to play out we see Khabib strut his stuff and his stuff is he wins inside of 3rds, it could reach up into the 4th but that will be it imo.


Khabib would be wise to enjoy a little on the feet then get down to Business of ending the fight second half of the first or in the 2nd round but I think if it gets out of the 1st it will get out of the 2nd, but then the 3rd is a whole other level of heat getting turned up, that right there is 3rd round is the wrong place to be.


Al Iaquinta is full of the right stuff but too small, Khabib will end this inside the distance, I cant see it entering the 4th round,

Ooough. That was so hard to watch I'm not even happy to win money. Such a poor look for the sport too. People fighting way past being done is a symptom of a lot of the problems with MMA today. At the very least I'm glad they stopped it.

Moicano looks good, 10-9 Moicano he got tagged early but won the vast majority of the round, crisper technique like I thought and good leg kicks, definitely outlanded him

Joanna is a bully with good technique and volume but she just does not deal well with being hit. We saw hints of it when Karolina rocked her in r4 in their fight but no one's been able to land consistently the way Rose is
