Re: MMA Thread

DC is a beast, that's a betting mistake here, betting on an unknown quantity that has confused me vs a very highest calibre top guy that is proven.

All riding on Quinton Jackson / Francis Ngannou

Re: MMA Thread

Oh dear rampage, it's not that he's in bad shape, it's that his skill set is abysmal and he no longer has speed.

Re: MMA Thread

Because we're idiots. We're talking about Rampage's shape and we forget he hasn't added anything new to his arsenal. Chael Sonnen has been competing in grappling tournaments, training constantly while Rampage has been streaming on Twitch...

Amen to that. Miocic did his thing, suppose Francis will be back at some point.

Re: MMA Thread

That was not a good card to watch unless you were supporting Boston fighters.

Thought Herb Dean could have easily stopped the fight in the 4th round but for some reason gave Francis Ngannou every opportunity to try and stand back up even though he was offering nothing back to what Stipe Miocic was dishing out.

To go the distance/last all five rounds was around 6/1.

Re: MMA Thread

Cain next for Stipe? nothing else for him to do.

If Gus/Cain aren't ready then maybe DC/Stipe superfight?

Would think both of them want to fight at 1 of the bigger summer cards.

Also, I like Rockhold vs Yoel. Yoel lost to Whittaker on 1 leg and it being a 5 rd fight definitely favors Rockhold with the better cardio.

Francis stake 125 to win 210, people talking about it being an advantage going into the 2nd, if any thing it is worse (much) the further the fight progresses so this shows what people know.

Oezdemir colkan to win stake 75 to win 285 (price 31/11!!!!!) this price is ridicules and I thought that Oezdemir would be the heavy fav , I was just logging into to bet him... so I am licking my lips.

Oezdemir is so good I am not even able to measure it, there is some thing very special about this guy and seeing 31/11 leaves me perplexed.
I hope to see Daniel test Oezdemir but Daniel uses clinching, this guy is on a whole other level about close quarter, he is so good I cant even calibrate or evaluate what to do about him but I know I am betting him straight up at 31/11 and I hope to see a fight that goes back and forth a little but Oezdemir is way to good for Daniel, under 3rds imo.. the guys fight mind maybe one of the best of all time. The guy is different, hence the reason he is fighting DC.

Quinton is the weakest play of my three, and agree he is much more confrontable looking at the weight, he is a great fighter, its going to be pleasurable to see Chael Sonnen having his face smashed to pieces which is the ideal outcome.

The quality of production of both UFC and Bellator is really impressive, Bellator look like they are going to have a really event.

Its not just his power, there is a whole package behind the power, and I was searching for vulnerability, stipe is acting as a body model you put in the car crash dummy testing,

You couldn't of been any further from the truth here.

Then once the fight is over, you are all like DC is a beast??

So many hype riders that seem to follow a few posters who have no clue what the f they are predicting.

I have followed this thread closely for some time now and you guys don't seem to have a f clue. New mma bettors, do not listen to these guys when making bets, in fact you should go opposite as that seems to be easy money.

It's not that they are wrong on this occasion, just go and look at past results, they get these fights wrong on a consistent basis.

The last line is all that needs to be said. This is a fix dream. In this match up Ngannou had realistically only a rd1 no chance and after that Miocic could decide how it was going to end. In rd4 he backed off clubbing the too win and the rnc and in rd5 he ran.

A total fix and one that DC could have taken as the match ups were the same but he elected to do his job and perform for the fans and as a professional.

Went 1-2 on straight up picks and 1-1 on props. Luckily, Kattar bailed me out and I ended up making like a slight profit on the card overall. I guess any card where you book a win is a good one.

Very disappointed with Almeida's approach. I feel like anyone who watched Font's tape should've realized that he has great hand speed but is very vulnerable to rear roundhouse kicks to the front calf because of how much weight he puts on his front leg due to his boxing based style. Almeida should've tried to work him down from distance instead of trying to box with him, which played into Font's strengths. But hey, hindsight is 20/20. Onto the next card.

Rewatch last 5 Ngannou fights to understand why Stipe did not want to take any chances. Also by the middle of Rd 4, Stipe punched himself out as well (he landed 100+ times on Ngannou, let alone all the clinching and effort spent on stopping Ngannou from exploding to his feet).

Really like the matchup for Rampage against Sonnen. From what I have seen it looks like Rampage is motivated coming in to this fight. Sonnen can't stand with Rampage and I imagine will get blasted early on.

Dan Hardy broke down the Miocic vs Ngannou on inside the ocatagon fight really well. Feel like Miocic is the value side of this fight.
Left half a unit on Burgos.
Also added Lima and largest bet was on Rampage.

Bad night overall although Miocic saved it from being a wipeout.

Sonnen looked a lot better last night compared with his fight against Wanderlai. Light on his feet, mixed up things well. Rampage just looked terrible and if he had followed up after that slam. Just sat in Sonnens guard he would have probably won the fight.

Frustrating but it is what it is.

Like Brunson and Koch at first glance for next weeks card.

Truth hurts am I right? Can you even read? Should I spell it out so even a 5 year old like yourself understands it?

I am letting new bettors know that these guys don't know much about ufc betting and I have been following this thread closely for quite a bit, and you come up with the brainy idea that I somehow followed them a lost a bet? Despite me literally writing that I have been following this thread for quite a while. smh
