Yeah I nearly took it when it opened at +160 on 365 a few days ago but I thought there was a decent chance WB would put Masvidal down as he rushed in recklessly so took straight up. WB dec is definitely a good bet vs any good striker with a good chin, people do forget he finished Robert Whittaker, Jake Ellenberger and Johny Hendricks pre-decline because of his current decision streak. It'll be interesting to see who he gets next, if he gets a grappler he's more likely to finish (or lose on occasion) and against strikers he'll usually UD them I assume although the more aggressive the striker is the more likely it is either guy finishes hence my reluctance to bet the dec prop vs Masvidal since he's normally even more aggro than he was today

There's no way Cody is a 2-1 fav vs TJ unless he's the P4P #1 (which he could be but we dont have proof of that yet)

TJ's going to get in Cody's face in a way Cruz didn't. I have no idea what's going to happen in the fight but I can't wait and i'll be truly shocked if Cody wins a lopsided fight. I don't think anyone at 135 or lower wins a lopsided fight vs TJ.

the main factor I took into account was Jorge's iron chin and the fact masvidal never seems to get TKO or KO. so i truly thought even WB finishing him by KO/TKO seemed quite low.

but WB clearly would have the edge in striking, and thats where jorge wanted to fight. Jorge's last 9 losses were all split or majority losses to judges.

Booked small (.5u again) on TJ +185. IDK man... I have a hard time seeing it at the same time he def is a top top guy. It seems a bit out of line and I've had some drinks and feeling like having fun more than anything xd

Holy ****. Rose just beat the **** out of her standing, dropped her twice fearlessly and finished her. What insane power. That is not how I expected the under to hit.

I was so close to taking Rose +5xx too.

Going to trust my instincts and double down on TJ now. I just gave a gut feeling that he's going to turn Cody Nodad Necktat's lights out

Tapped to strikes? Crazy. So is that a sub then? Joanna tapped to strikes after all of that pre fight trash talk. Granted she was done and it was a late-ish stoppage which granted is fine in a title fight to give the champ a chance to recover. Ref was about to step in anyway as she tapped though.

Looks like it's going down as a TKO.

Yeah, she was generally 4/1+. Well done to anyone who believed in Thug Rose!

Till is a very dangerous fight for Cerrone. Till reminds me a little bit of Jorge Masvidal (just in terms of his striking) because he's so relaxed in there. Great striker, obviously. Cerrone is much more well rounded and should have a far superior submission game, which could be the difference, but he's also got a lot of miles on him and has almost certainly already peaked as a fighter, whereas Till is still getting better.

Agree that Clark probably wins, but his loss against Alex Nicholson was pathetic and it's tough to have a lot of confidence in a guy who loses like that. Clark seems like he's prone to gassing too.

There could be some value in Fili, but not much IMO. He's coming off an embarrassing loss against a UFC newcomer and Lobov looked surprisingly competitive against Cub Swanson, but Fili is younger, has a massive reach advantage, and is well rounded overall, so this could be a good spot to "buy low" on Fili.

Still, Lobov is tough as nails and is good at coming forward against pressure fighters, so I think it's going to be a pretty close fight. Fili also has a bad habit of exposing his center line when he initiates contact which makes him susceptible to good counter punchers.

Also, is it me or is Rose Namajunas good value at +320 against Joanna? Joanna is really good and should definitely be the favorite, but I don't think Rose is more than a 3-1 underdog against her. Anybody else like Rose here?
That was a good win

Opened -3xx/+300ish, closed -6xx/+5xx

Props to Elliot btw (he doesn't post in the thread much anymore) but he had me place a Rose ITD bet for him this morning so at least one person called it

im stunned. what a great moment. she handled the post fight stuff great. new star.

with fighters like joanna, who have had long careers, been on top etc, I think it ends here. kinda like aldo. I dont see them back on top. Once they lose that momentum its never the same.

Firing a small prop on TJ wins by R1 TKO/KO/DQ +1800. Main play TJ straight up still. In bad vs current price. Gotta decide how much to add might make my bet an even 1k which means adding 300ish. Should at least bring my average to +17x that way. Adding a small prop on TJ TKO/KO/DQ +600 as well

If TJ wins this will be another top 10 card ever for me, if Cody wins i'll still be up but it'll just be a small-medium amount

Still haven't bet the main but my gut says GSP wins for some reason, I feel like i'll know during the walkouts i've gone back and forth on it so many times.

Re: Rose if she wants Rousey-level fame she needs to grow her hair back. It's stupid and shallow, but being hot still matters as far as being a draw is concerned in WMMA and Rose is hot with hair and isn't without. She has the potential to be a superstar though if she can put a Joanna-like streak of defenses together

I want to see Cody Nodad Necktat get knocked out cold so badly right now i'm going to mark out if TJ beats him entirely separately from my bet.

Cody and TJ both look so confident like the idea they could lose isn't even possible. The winner of this rivalry is going to rule BW in the post-Cruz era (i'd love to see Cruz win the belt back but his days are numbered due to his body)

10-9 Cody obv, was close til the knockdown at the end

They're both throwing with bad intentions when they get in close, lots of feints but they're throwing with power, someone's going to sleep at some point

This crowd is classless scum

BOOM

2-1 knockdowns ***** and TJ pounces

Surprised they embrace after fight. Respect for Cody there after he didn't touch gloves when he was walking over I thought he was going to try and fight him.

TJ could go full heel here if he wants to make ALL the money. Tell the crowd **** you too, call out Faber saying he retired so he wouldnt have to fight him, say he's better than TAM, etc. but he won't because he's actually a nice guy I think and wants to be a face even though he should be a heel for the money

What a night!

I hope Cruz beats Rivera now so we get TJ vs Cruz 2, makes so much sense, then Cody vs the winner again once he wins a rebound fight

Well if GSP can complete the sweep for challengers against champions then it'd be ever so wacky. One of those awful/magic* nights.

Still going to decide during walkouts

Wish i'd taken TJ by TKO in r1 and 2 not just 1, but it's a big win for me regardless, +600 (only a small bet) but a pile on at +17x average too

Will total it all up after the card I guess

My gut says GSP wins by decision. I'm going to wait to see their faces at walk out may change my mind last second no bets at all on the main yet

Good callout by TJ, makes sense for him to fight MM quickly now that MM has the record and why not go for 2 belts if he can comfortably make 125 by say UFC 220 or 221 as long as he can re-bulk up back to 135 in time to defend vs the Cruz/Rivera winner by mid-2018

Dilishaw isn't a good guy. He's notorious for beating the **** out of training partners who were way below him in skill and being a gym bully, which included ending one guy's career with a cheap shot. He's a POS as a person, but he's a great fighter.

And thanks Maglame, just wish I'd bet it bigger. I thought Rose was more likely than not to lose, just didn't think she was as big of an underdog as everyone was pricing her as. Definitely didn't anticipate the first round KO.

Not loving GSP's walkout. He seems very midsection-heavy. Looks like a welterweight with unnecessary midsection mass the way Hendricks has it now. Looks mildly nervous. I think i've talked myself out of GSP. Let's see what Bisping looks like I guess. The idea I might bet Bisping over GSP a few years ago is laughable. I still love GSP on skillset. His physique makes sense if he plans to wrestle**** Bisping but if he plans to strike it doesn't look like he's added enough muscle for power to translate to 185 plus it may affect his cardio although he's never had cardio issues before really

Ok I think i'm going with the steam and going small on Bisping. He looks focused and angry even and in good shape.

If GSP 50-45s him i'll laugh at myself after just going to do a couple hundred, I think I won like 5-6k this card
