This is just the mantra of people who don't know what the **** they are talking about.
Neither sport has corrupt judging, it is just most people have no clue how to judge a fight.
The problem with MMA judging is the rounds are too long. 5 minute rounds are just impossible to judge. With only 3 of them you get basically random outcomes.
"Corrupt" boxing judging is mostly when a fighter puts on a dirty style like Jeff Horn or Andre Ward. Combine a dirty style against Manny like Horn or Bradley and all the pactard fans cry about how corrupt everything is when it is really that they can't judge a fight to save their ****ing ass.
The ultimate example of "corrupt" judging in boxing is supposedly Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor. That is really the fans not knowing the rules because that fight absolutely should have been stopped and the ref did a great job to not let the amount of time left change his decision. It doesn't matter if there is .5 seconds left in the fight, if the guy can't continue it is a knock out. No one cares that Meldrick Taylor basically had his brain turned to mush in this fight.
Bob Arum paid the judges off to go against his global super star! Of course! All smart people are in the business of undermining themselves.
Can't wait for this weekend to be over so we can get back to reality. Basically MMA got ****ed in all this because McGregor has taken months and months off his grappling training, exactly what he could not afford to do with who is waiting for him. MMA can not afford to lose McGregor or the whole sport is practically down the drain.
