I find it so impressive how guys like Whittaker can just stuff takedowns with ease from Olympic class wrestlers. It's not like Australia has an NCAA program he grew up in like a lot of the top wrestlers in the UFC. Gunnar did look good, but Ponzinibbio made him pay. Gunnar did look very happy to stand and trade though for a grappler but I guess the fight ended relatively early. Will be interesting to see who they both get next.
Maia +150 not as good as I hoped, but he was +170 at one point. I guess he could easily get back to +175 or more just going to leave it for now but i'm far more likely to bet on Maia than Woodley even though the stylistic matchup is bad for him.
Knight opens as a fav over Lamas, not the long price I was hoping for either. Lawler/Cerrone about the same as it was last time, slightly more favourable for Lawler I assume because Cerrone's been dealing with the blood infection or whatever it was. Cyborg a huge fav as expected, Jones still about the same, I do kind of want to bet Jones but with the long layoff i'll probably just pass. I just don't think DC can beat him unless he can outwrestle him and he couldn't do that the first time. That said there's a chance Jones was roiding and is off them now, so that's a wild card.
Manuwa -160ish vs Oezdemir, that's a tough one as it's hard to have any idea how good Oezdemir actually is.
I can't help but think Bermudez handles Elkins easily and i'm very high on Elkins and up a lot betting on him... but with how chinny Bermudez is, Elkins is kind of tempting. Despite the way his last fight ended it's not like Elkins is known to be a knockout artist and that's how you beat Bermudez. He could though, price seems about right.
I sort of want to bet Pat Cummins at -112 vs Villante but i'd need to rewatch some tape first
Lots of new odds out today, will be interesting to see how they move.
