I'd like to see you in there eating punches like that, he even tried to fight on despite his broken hand.

Lolz, this is the fight game. Who won't fight through with a broken hand? They're pro's, don't compare to normal civilian.

Go watch Faber when everything was broken and had only elbows to strike with.

seriously, a broken hand doesn't mean u can't defend urself. Pettis showed 0 class and heart by missing weight and then did so again but getting outclassed severely by Max.

Even if Pettis had 3 hands it wouldn't have changed a thing, Max dominated him in every which way

unfortunate that it didn't go to the cards cuz no way we lose but at least we didn't have to risk some fluke head kick by Pettis to lose Max overall bet

Lost 150 on the card with a few unexpected results, badr hari injury and dillian whyte won my boxing bet but I actually thought he lost by a few rounds. UFC wise unhappy I loaded up on dooho choi in hindsight, and still happy about my pettis bet considering facts at the time and the price I got him at. Wonder wether he will stick around or move up.

What a great card hit Cerrone by ko and had Swanson. Enjoyed seeing Tim Kennedy getting taken apart by Kelvin.

Think the keyboard warriors are being a bit harsh on Pettis always enjoy watching him fight win or lose he is normally entertaining.

No dogs barking on the undercard. Sweated these main event bouts with my square plays and parlays. Would have made a few bucks if I didn't lose confidence in Black Beast getting a finish and live betting the fight goes distance prop instead thinking Shamil would grind him out to the final bell. Lucky to come away with a small 1.20 unit loss.

Cub Swanson vs Doo Ho Choi is definitely a FOTY candidate and Cub winning made my night. Hate to see Kelvin Gastelum get rewarded with a win up at middleweight, but he made Tim Kennedy look so slow. I was surprised Valerie Letourneau lost that decision, but my chalky parlays hit and I end up with a decent 5.06 units profit for the card.

You might want to avoid making FOTN/POTN bets on people who are supporting the fighters union (or whatever it is). Uncle dana won't be giving them anything anytime soon.

after hearing the story it's kind of ******ed to hate on the guy

Quote:
he arrived in Toronto weighing 153 pounds, which is seven pounds lighter than he weighed when he arrived in Vancouver prior to his featherweight debut against Charles Oliveira in August.

Pettis said he he got down to 146.5 pounds before his team decided he would not be able to lose any more weight.

"It was a team call," Pettis said. "My body just wouldn't let go of that extra weight. It's just one those things. We did everything right beforehand, everything was on point. My body just gave out. I had nothing left to give.

"In the end, we decided that my career and health are more important than those two extra pounds."
