Weird night so far first card utter disaster, second card flawless so far. Just tuned back in. Mutante and Munhoz being the cardsavers

Let's go Gadelha -3.5

This would be a tilting way to lose or push what a ridiculous head explosion by Gadelha

Hopefully Casey can continue and if they take a point we're still ok as long as she gets a 30-27, hopefully its not 2 points

Replay made it look like it didnt connect but it did hit top of head

lol what no point deduction

what the hell is wrong with the referee if you can land a head kick to a downed opponent and get a warning what's to stop other fighters doing it the eye poke and low kick non point deductions are ridiculous enough let alone a head kick to a downed opponent

R3 finish prop looking decent if Gadelha can land some stuff

Huh. It looked a lot worse in real time than it did in slow motion but only two people really know though and I'd like to think Cortney Casey isn't a cheat.

That definitely would have been a tilting way to lose. Ugh.

Looks like a pretty clear 30-27 Gadelha, although it should be 29-27 with the point deduction that didn't happen

Shame we ran out of time for the finish prop another minute and it was probably an arm triangle sub win

Gadelha/Joanna trilogy is still the best fight they can make at WSW although I really want to see Rose vs Joanna too due to Rose's explosiveness I think Joanna breaks her in the later rounds. Gadelha's in the spot where she's lost twice to the champ but she's arguably won 4 rounds out of 8 and i'm all for a trilogy fight if she can string a couple more wins together

Got Almeida ITD, Nog and Nog DEC at long prices for the last two. Vamoooooooo Brasil!

Just saw the split decision for Pearson/Ray was 30-27 30-27 27-30 lol were the rounds close or did a judge go full ******

Makes sense, mistimed body kick as Gadelha thought she'd be at that height and nice to apologise

Still should have been a point deduction

Adding an extra unit on Almeida ITD -138

Fedor signs with Bellator to fight Mitrione btw

Pretty tempting to bet Mitrione KO, obviously Fedor should submit him easier, but he has more power than Maldonado...

I guess Fedor is just fighting for a paycheck now and not to test himself which is fine if that's what he wants, Bellator's getting some better fighters but I can't think of any worthy HWs to face him there. Mitrione, Minakov, Lashley I guess.

Huh. Folks on Twitter not impressed by Michael Page's performance against Fernando Gonzalez as he kept running throughout the fight. Most importantly, two people were as he won a split decision.

General reactions were he was auditioning for UFC but didn't do a very good job of it.

Yeah there is. Not even any delayed highlights on Spike UK like there usually is though.

Almeida is careless but fun as hell to watch

If he lands a couple more of those bombs he'll get the finish but he could get caught himself too

There we go

If Almeida can get his defense sorted out and scrambling/wrestling he can still be a contender

Weird night of two cards for me, fortunately my bets are bigger on the Brazil card than the NI one, still flawless for this card other than a couple small props after losing on the first one - if Lil'Nog can get the job done i'll have won all of my main bets for this second card

If Cruz beats Cody, i'd 100% be down for Almeida vs Lineker or a Cody rematch but rankings wise I guess he gets someone like Dodson or Sterling or something.

Almeida vs Lineker would be an amazing fight though if they don't have Lineker in mind as the backup if Cruz or Cody gets hurt I think that's the fight to make. Dillashaw should obviously be the stand in if either Cody or Cruz goes down though so i'd just make it and if Lineker wins he gets the next title shot after TJ if he can start making weight consistently. If I was the matchmaker i'd make Lineker win a couple more though mostly just to make weight and because there are other options

just a heads up... ward and sergey kovalev have just stepped into the ring, announcer is running through the sponcers... 5 or more minutes and its starting rd 1...

also wtf is that ref doing letting the fight going on that long (moralez got overly smashed up should have got called sooner)
MMA Thread Quote

Yeah it was over I guess the ref was waiting for Almeida to drop him, slightly late but not awful dangerous stoppage or anything.

Going to watch Nog/Bader over the boxing but will tune in after if it's still going

Seems like everyone is on Ward for the boxing so gl us!

Nog+260 4 units feel like if Nog can keep it standing and doesn't get bear mauled he is better then 50/50 to win as his striking is much better

Oh me god, last time i am betting in something i got no idea Ward is getting ****ed by the Russian dude, just burned 2 units

Looks like Nog is done barring punchers chance although against Bader that's always possible. Still a small win for the day which is nice after the first card loses

Live-In Play: Sergei Kovalev Points Victory Or Technical Decision (+254) ~$37.57 for ~$95.43

Got a cashout option for Ward at 0.7u from my 1u, Ward seems to be coming on strong and on most judges counts win if he wins the rest of the rounds, guess i'll cash out if he loses another round which would be 6 for Kovalev and otherwise leave it as he should win 7-5 and a cpl Kovalev rounds apparently close

This is hard as I have nfi how to score boxing so i'm relying on media scores I assume Ward got r9 but gotta wait and see
MMA Thread Quote

Well it is a nice price when it's 5 rounds to 4 for Kovalev you'd think with a 10-8

Interesting the commentator guy scored the last round for Kovalev, other commentator scores it for Ward

Sherdog guy has it 5-4 Kovalev with one 10-8

Cashout price up to 0.91u so I assume Ward is live on the cards still if he keeps winning rounds but I can cash out if Kovalev clearly wins one

Cashed out for a 0.09u loss since that round was close too, hope Ward wins still but decided to not sweat it
