Partially hedged my Tumenov straight play with Gunni sub: Gunnar Nelson wins by submission (+310) $35.00 for $108.50

Gunnar's striking looking good, sparring with Conor and the team paying off

Looks like regardless of result given he looks fine on feet and mounts Tumenov in r1 I was right that Gunnar +155 was the play. Let's hope he can get it done

Both guys look fantastic so far on the feet, 10-9 Gunnar due to the mount + elbows obviously, standup close so far

This makes Maia look so amazing given how he handled Gunnar (and Story who edged him)

Starting to believe and I might have talked myself into a Maia to submit Brown bet (with a small Brown wins in r3 hedge)

Tumenov is legit top 15 and Gunnar is looking the best he ever has

edit: and there is is, nice hedge JimGunn

Big win for me picks up about 2u, up 3u and change for the card now heading into the main and comain I think

Since i'm on a roll, adding a half unit on Struve by TKO +120 as that's my predicted outcome. Also have the u1.5 rounds and Struve straight up. I don't really like the Struve straight up bet anymore, prefer firing the TKO line, he's got fantastic subs but I think it makes sense for him to stand and trade with Bigfoot as if he lands on the chin Bigfoot collapses in a heap and going to the ground probably means being underneath Bigfoot and thats not a good idea as there's a risk of hulk-smashing

I had a chance to hedge my Tumenov ML play with Gunni live after round 1 at the same price -165 to zero it out but balked. Luckily the sub cashed but I still lost some money.

Poor Bigfoot. You can tell he wanted it badly but the first time his chin is touched he's rocked like usual

Feels great as a Struve fan though who has a over 4.5 TKOs play that is now live for the main event, Struve, the under, and Struve by TKO

Not sure what i'm up now but it's between 4u and 5u with 1 and change on Arlovski for the main plus a small Arlovski r1 bet

If Struve has finally sorted out his 'oops my heart didn't work I nearly died' issues and we get aggro Struve who beat up Miocic and had a first great 13 fights or so in the promotion finish or be finished etc... he's late 20s, and has filled out to a solid 280 to cut to 265, he could still make a run. Struve was one of the reasons I became an MMA fan and was always my fav HW when I first started watching, I really hope he can make a run at it. We don't learn much from this performance, but if it gives him confidence that's huge

Bigfoot needs to leave the UFC and fight in Japan for Rizin or somewhere that TRT is allowed. His offense is still top 10 i'm sure but he just can't survive with that chin fighting top 25 HWs and it's a waste if he's fighting Ruan Potts level cans

Safe to say Big Foot is done. He'll always have that Alistair, Fedor, Arlovski on his record though, even if he was jucing then.

I think 'Aggressive Struve' is going to be a thing now like 'Motivated BJ Penn' or 'Sea level Cain' - he really does have SO much potential though if he can learn the right skillset (jab, aggression) he has the BJJ to not worry so much about wrestling and just work for subs/sweeps off his back if taken down he just needs to fight as if he's 7 feet tall and aggressively and he can definitely be top 10 a year from now

edwards over waters
seery over horiguchi
madadi over cabral
cedenblad over mclellan
khabilov over wade
Kowalkiewicz over clark
krylov over barrioso
de randamie over elmose
tumenov over gunnar
bigfoot over struve
arlovski over reem

7-3 so far not surprised by the seery loss as that was an unlikely outcome disappointed in tumenov result but that was not the same gunnar we had seen the last couple outings

struve just did exactly what i said he wasnt capable doing in catching bigfoot coming in early

He can't be too safe on the ground though, Alistair did pound him out in his guard... Also, he's never really subbed anyone who has decent bjj / wrestling.

After a horrible start to the year i'm on a nice run lately, had about 1.5u on 5d and something like 4u on Pinny sitting in my account a few cards ago and now I have closer to 20u and 15u respectively and most of it has come from the last 5 or so MMA cards. Not sure if i'm back to even on the year yet but i'd be close after that big downswing to start.

Reem's offense is top 3 at HW and arguably number one, it's just he has a bad chin so will probably lose to most top guys - Struve was coming off the heart issues/nerve issues/panic attack etc I guess we'll find out in his next few fights if his 2013-2015 is still the new Struve and Bigfoot is just done, or whether he can recapture his top 15 form from prior to the Hunt fight/heart problems that led to cardio and confidence issues etc

I wonder if they ever sparred in training and who got the better of the other. Rooting for Arlovski, but the Reem who faced JDS looked pretty sharp and I think Overeem should "technically" with the fight with his superior standup and ground game if he out-mma's Arlovski. But then again, the HW is more than any other division about being good in that one thing (and some people say Arlovski is the hardest hitter in the HW) and it's always higher variety in who wins.

Little play on Overeem by knockout too: Alistair Overeem wins by TKO/KO (-130) $65.00 for $50.00
