Yeah man really liking the movement on the odds so far, most bets I wanted to place are improving.

McGregor's odds have been rising steady over the last few weeks, they are almost even now. I feel like now is the best time to bet on him, I think around weigh-ins and fight day the odds might drop a bit, because of increased media exposure, and all the Irish bettor in Vegas. This is just an hunch I got, might be totally off here.

There is surprisingly little talk about Aldo vs McGregor, nobody betting? From a bettors perspective it might not be to interesting since it seems like the value is on Aldo, but I'm just so excited about the fight that I need to make a substantial bet to make it that much more exciting to watch.

Also considering taking the over 2.5 rounds, since I expect if Aldo wins it will be a decision win most of the times. Also if Aldo realizes he gets outclassed on the feet, he might shoot for takedowns, and that will obv be good for the over 2.5 bet. I don't think Mcgregor will be able to put that much pressure on him, back him to the cage and finish him under 2.5 rounds, like he did with most opponents, although he might very well be able to do so. I just think its hard to finish Aldo he got great footwork and speed and is so explosive, he wont be be having his back on the cage that much.

This is assuming Mcgregor wins the striking part of the match, if it would be even or Aldo would do better on the feet, that again would be great for the over 2.5, since i don't see Aldo finishing Mcgregor, esp not under 2.5 rounds. although that would obv be bad my other bet on Mcgregor to win.

Not sure if the bets are good, they might be contradicting each other a bit
Any thoughts on this? please share, any insight would be appreciated

Not Sterling ITD is tempting vs Eduardo I think at +105, Eduardo is live to win the fight and even if he doesn't I think Sterling only finishes half the time or so

Moraes ITD is +241, wonder if Moraes sub will be better than +300 when the line drops, i'd assume maybe +310 or something?

Aldo slowly closing in on favouritism vs McGregor too, will be interesting to see which way that one goes post weigh ins

Got Pfister at +950 and Rose by sub at +350 for tomorrows card.
Aldo at +140 and Maia at -120 for PPV,
I wanted to take Laflare but missed the earlier price and think -200 is probably about right.

I locked my Weidman bet at -170 and Aldo at +125.

Holloway, Weidman, and Aldo parlay
Edgar, Mustafaev
Sterling, Aldo, Theodorou

Weidman - Rockhold line has me a bit concerned, but I'm still happy with the pick.

Added a half unit on Rose straight up at +144 to go with my Rose r1/sub props and Paige TKO hedge, another unit on Edgar at -137 bringing my average price back to -146 for 2u total, 0.1u Eduardo at +509 and 0.2u on Alves +103, plus 0.27u on Moraes ITD at +241

Nearly done for the weekend now, hoping it's a good one

Biggest plays are Weidman then Edgar then PVZ/Rose ends ITD and Torres, will get a nice score if Rose wins by sub and/or in r1 or if Edgar wins in r3-4-5 and then we want Ferguson, Sage u1.5, Moraes ITD, Warrley Alves and Eduardo.

Also have Edgar+Weidman closing a 0.1u 10 fight parlay (effectively 7 leg as it had 3 pushes) and im sure ill end up with something on Conor/Aldo, although since Aldo is steaming right now i'll wait and see where prices end up. Heart and gut both say Conor, head says Aldo so who knows.

The Aldo-Mcgreggor fight is going to be one where it's a tough bet to make ahead of time but I think that after the fight the winner will show that he could do the same thing 5 times in a row.

Either Connar's style is going to clearly pick Aldo apart or Aldo is going to show the world that Connar has no business in the ring with him.

Do any of you gentlemen have any experience with any of the bitcoin sportsbooks?

I have dealt with Nitrogen but they have limited MMA options.

inb4 Aldo plays the wrestlers game and just out-mma's Connor (who showed he's very susceptible to takedowns). I mean, someone like Edgar would probably have a field day with Connor.

I know 5dimes provides withdrawals via bitcoin but I haven't done it yet. If all goes well this next few weeks I will make my first bitcoin withdrawal.

It's nice that they exist, but without offering good dog odds, a lot of props nor live betting I don't have much incentive to use them.

Sage Northcutt is one of the most unique persons I've seen in a while. It's like he has zero disdain for anything, just so positive always. It's ****ing strange.

I think he is just young and amazed with where he landed up. He pretty much won the lottery to be doing what he is doing at his age.

He is so naive, give him a few years life experience and I expect we will see a different human.

So far this weekend I've got:

PVZ-Namajunas ITD 1u @ 1.72 (Crownbet)

Weidman 1u @ 1.74 (Betfair)

I can't help but finding myself liking Northcutt too. I feel like he should get on my nerves or something but he's just so upbeat it's hard not to like him.

Interesting that his family pulled him out of training at Tristar because there was too much contact sparring too.

It looks like their referral process is more work than I'm willing to do.

I was thinking it was just a code.

I am also in the camp where I feel like I should dislike Northcutt (he looks like the bad guy jock in pretty much every american high school film) but he seems ok. Lacks any personality but seems like a nice dude.

Still got 0.1 units on Pfister at +950 so wouldn't mind seeing him get his bell rung

Sage is a really cool kid. During his brief stay at Tristar he was polite, hard working and showed tons of potential.

I somewhat understand his father's decision to pull him off Tristar as young Sage is not used to going that hard in training, specially in grappling training where he came close to getting a few injuries.

He left a great impression and I am sure he will be back in Montreal at some point in his long career. For now his father is looking at it from a business angle, no point in getting Sage injured by sparring too hard, he will beat Pfister easily.

Lots of fights this weekend, I might put more on Edgar as the line keeps getting better and more on Aldo if the late $ comes in on McG (it should)

so far:

Chiesa (-110) v Miller 1.1u to win 1u
Edgar (-140) v Money 0.7u to win 0.5u
Aldo (+150) v Conor 1u to win 1.5u
Weidman (-130) v Rockhold 2.6u to win 2u
Musatafaev (-265) v Proctor 2.65u to win 1u
