Good results last night but wish I bet more on Santos.

Thiago "Marreta" Santos -210
Thiago "Marreta" Santos wins inside distance +125
Over Rounds vs. Under Rounds Under 1½ (+110)

Parlay (5 picks)
Silva -200 / Oliveira -450 / Santos -190 / Larkin -200 / Carlos Junior -170

@JimGunn: which site do you use? I get bad odds at bodog and not as much props.

Hopefully Machida is still dazed from the beating he took last time.
Only one takedown was needed. Was getting anxious waiting it.

2015 total: -20u

I bet at 5Dimes and Bookmaker. They have the early lines, lots of props and live betting, at least between rounds nowadays.

Opened up yahoo today and his speech.. (love the macho man voice) is making headlines for being anti-gay or something... it was hard to understand him and his English isn't great but did he say something to the affect of saying that he worships Jesus but America worships a gay Jesus? Just writing it out makes me laugh but in all seriousness he's looking at a fine/suspension/crappy opponent as the UFC like the rest of the world can't let anyone have an opinion if it offends anyone.

Considering no one knows what he said cause of his pronunciation, he can always backtrack.

I can't believe people think he said "gay Jesus". He obviously said "No forget Jesus" in his broken English.

Romero is the classic delusional heel who thinks he is the face

If theyre doing weidman vs rockhold i guess he has to face belfort or jacare next right? I cant wait for someone to ktfo him its going to happen eventually and its going to make me so happy.

I like his fights but his personality pisses me off. Hes like jones a fighter who is fun to watch but who you just want to cheer against. He cheated in the kennedy fight and got away with it and generally comes across as a sanctimonious prick plus his nickname is soldier of god how can i cheer for someone like that

Hence i want to see him get ktfod which is good for him as that equals buys. Not caring about a fighter like say okami or fitch and never wanting to watch them fight is the worst thing for a fighter because they make less money. I couldnt care less about ben askren because hes boring and doesnt make me love or hate him

Classic Swoop IMO, when he bets fighter A and fighter B wins, he can't wait to either fade him next or see him get ktfo

Not always, was on anderson twice vs weidman and machida vs him and now im a weidman fan even after he beat two of my fav fighters, faded cerrone a bunch and hes growing on me etc

Romero is certainly not a heel though i can imagine he rubs many the wrong way. He's more like a more exciting and more preachy Tyron Woodley (i guess?).

Jon Jones is a fake ******* and that came across clearly to anyone. Romero is probably just a nutjob that never spent much time outside the gym.

Anyway re the fights:

Very happy to see Kato come through as my one major underdog bet. Having Kongo win and Machida lose hurt my roll bady. My new foray into MMA betting is not off to a good start. Here are my upcoming wagers:

Conor McGregor - 4.5 units
Conor McGregor/Jose Aldo Under 2½ - 1.5 units
Glover Teixeira - 4.5 units
Frank Mir - 3 units
Thales Leites - 2 units
Renan Barao - 2 units
Gunnar Nelson - 1 unit

As a noob I appreciate your input. Let me know if you think any of these bets are outta line.

PS. I too love Machida and was sad to see him lose, not just because of the $$$

Glover changed his camp before the Davis fight and he looked awful there. OSP should not be able to score the tds or control from top the way Davis did but I would still want to know how Glover is prepping for this fight before backing him.
Prob will get a better line on Leites at fight time as I expect most casual money will come in on Bisping.

Stephens/Bermudez O2.5 -155 seems good. It opened -190 so someone disagrees but I just think this matchup gets to distance a lot

Looks like four if you count Jorge de Oliveira. Others are Charles, Wendell and Alex (Cowboy).

Sucks to be edgar he wants to sit out to a title shot but if im the ufc i throw money at edgar and mendes to set that up since thatd be an awesome fight if aldo and conor have to fight twice if conor wins
And it's a shame that Jung is out until 2017. He could be an interesting matchup for some of the top guys he hasn't fought yet.

like the way I fire up odds checker and see Conor as 3/4 across the board or worse. finally people are waking up and all the talk of aldo injury lol

looking to have at least 500 on conor come fight night at 3/4 and only pissed that more people were not sleeping longer.

Some one must have lumped serious money Conor.

Decent career and good luck to him but he has no business on my TV screen again.

Yeah, it's amazing that he's still fighting in major organizations at this point. He actually fought for the UFC welterweight title before Matt Hughes ever did.

I think a lot of bettors just fired anticipating a line move when the injury news hit. I was leaning Aldo before the injury (although planned to cheer for Conor and wasnt going to bet) but then the injury news hit and the conor line started sinking from +110 or whatever it was at at the time, I got on Conor at -101 for 2u anticipating he would close as a fav and I could either arb for a profit or have a bet on Conor against an injured Aldo if he fought anyway and rumours were the injury would affect his performance and given he's -130 to -140 last I saw at most books looks like the right choice

As it stands i'm probably keeping my Conor bet given Aldo could crumple to a body shot or it could affect his movement/cardio negatively which is too dangerous against a striker of Aldo's caliber

2u McGregor -101
2u Rory Mac -165
1.5u Brown -150

Also pending

2u Gustafsson +220
2.5u Weidman -140

A bet to see who wins the title next or do you actually mean the UFC 189 fight between Rory and Robbie Lawler?
