Apparently not since it cost him quite a bit of money.

Ho Lee *** main event. Definitely worth catching a replay.

Yeah I missed it live but I saw Thiago Silva got finished by someone we've never heard of so i'm def gonna have to watch that wifebeating ******* get what's coming to him

Kinda disappointed he never faced Jon Jones so he could get his face smashed up with elbows

Just got a couple of comped tickets for Ufc 189. The wife is in love with the Irishman and that's close to her birthday. What are the chances of the fight card getting cancelled / changed?

Undoubtedly there will be someone who will pull out but it's unlikely to be the Main Event fighters. Since the July show in Vegas is the UFCs biggest show a lot of fighters will desperately try to stay healthy/fight injured just to be a part of it. Aldo and Connor have had injuries in the past but it would have to be serious to pull out of this $ fight.

Feel like more likely Aldo pulls out than Connor. But Aldo has rarely pulled out from what I know.

How exactly does one get comped tickets for UFC 189 out of curiosity, casino table game play in Vegas or?

My dad has too much money, and likes video poker. So his host was happy to do him a favor and gave us two tickets.

Ah, nice. I assume i'd lose more in expectation trying to get comped tickets while at the WSOP this year than just paying for them

Ended up firing 1u Masvidal -125. Line seems to be moving a bit and didn't want to miss the boat, was on the fence about the fight but I think Masvidal can decision him or potentially even sub him if he makes a mistake. Big fight for both guys, winner gets a top 10 opponent, loser is back to the drawing board

Current bets for the next card

3.2u Pena -253
3.2u Poirier -166
1u Masvidal -125
0.5u Pena/Poirier/Masvidal/Guida/Mendes +582

Also considering but probably won't fire

Guida Decision +110
Carmouche -108
Yakovlev TKO +300
Pena Sub +350

Anybody watching these Aldo/Mcgregor embeddeds? There great Conor is really getting under Aldo's skin seems to have ground Aldo down with his constant taunting. I do think Aldo should be like -250 and will probably get to as low as -120 with the Conor hype but damn Conor knows how to sell a fight.

Locked in two bets for April 25th, 10 units on Mighty Mouse at -550 as a trading position he'll close at -850 or above and 1 unit on Dolloway at +150 as I think Bisping is on the decline and whilst Dolloway isn't a world beater I think he should be around even money.

not liking dolloway he feels like the exact kind of guy that bisping wins against

also horiguchi is going to win leading to mouse vs dodson title eliminator leading to johnson winning back the title

Thank you for your insight oh wise oracle but how does Horiguchi beat Mighty Mouse outside of an unlikely flash ko?
MMA Thread Quote

lol at the idea of Horiguchi winning. Dodson is very live vs MM, Cejudo may or may not be (we don't know how good he is yet) I doubt anyone else beats him anytime soon. Benavidez and McCall are semi live I guess too although McCall seems to be in decline

I think Bisping should beat Dolloway, Dolloway's chin isn't great and he's likely to get rocked even though Bisping isn't a power puncher he throws volume. He needs to KO Bisping cold in r1/2 with a single punch to win imo which is possible but I think Bisping is a clear favourite

i had horiguchi pegged for a title shot since before his debut granted this might be just a year too soon for him

id say fun size is prob live as well since i have him vs dodson as a pickem fight

I'll give you +150 on Makovsky for as much as you want vs Dodson even with the layoff

let me think on that

its really hard to bet against a young action fighter at flyweight with a win over the current bantamweight champ but fun size might be able to wrestle him to a decision especially if dodson is slower post injury

Just to clarify for as much as you want means for up to a few hundred

there is no value in a direct bet on the fight as the payoff isn't good enough for what is essentially a crapshoot of a fight

whereas a parlay can infuse enough value that if you feel like he is going to win then putting him there works
