Anyone think Machida DEC +405 is tempting vs Rockhold? Rockhold should be tough to finish but if he can't get takedowns Machida should outpoint him standing most of the time

Sab, of course Poogs doesn't have data.

I've seen some data on what you can blanket bet on MMA and show a profit on (a really, really small profit, and its a specific prop), and it isn't dogs.

Ya I like that prop for sure.

Hit Pena and Poirier openers on Pinnacle for the max (3.2u) at -253 for Pena and -166 for Poirier may arb a bit off for better prices for 1-2u on each, but expect both to win and expect both to have some minor steam. I think Poirier closes at -180 to -210 and Pena should close at -350 a lot

In both cases the opener is much better than any other price available would be shocked if the steam moves heavily against either fighter, and I doubt Pena would rush her return after already being out this long

roll on Khabib Nurmagomedov v Donald Cerrone May 24th, I am mrore looking forward to this fight than Chris vs Belfort (250 on Chris) and Mayweather vs Manny (large amount to be decided).

I think Cerrone lasts the first, he is in PRIME condition, if he gets beat vs Khabib at least we can look to the fight and say this was a peak Cerrone, his best.

As good as Khabib is , 4/9 (-225) is too much, Cerrone is a ****** beast and if he gets past that first round and warms up Khabib is going to get kicked in the face, all that hard core cowboy sht is going to come up to the surface and don't matter if your Russian or any thing if you face is getting kicked by a proper kickboxer.

Sick cardio from both of this guys, huge fight, biggest fight of the year for me as a combat sports fan.

I've been wrong a bunch fading Cerrone, but remember RDA beat Cerrone not long ago (and also just beat Pettis for the title) and Khabib ragdolled RDA not that long ago.

Cerrone def has the better striking but unless he can stuff ALL of the takedowns he's not going to win this fight

There is a nonzero chance Khabib will become the GOAT at LW. I'd go as far as to say it's a double digit chance he will end his career with the most title defenses at LW in UFC history

186 isn't the strongest card but 187 and 189 will be amazing. 187 is the most stacked card since UFC 100 possibly and with the two title fights at the top of 189 it has the potential to be amazing too if they round it out with a good main card and prelims.

190 looks good two fights in too and 193 should be a stacked card in Melbourne late this year as well for their entry into Australia's biggest sporting market and first stadium event in Australia, good chance one of the champs from 187/189 cards end up headlining alongside the HW champ vs Hunt if Hunt wins his next fight in another two title card

They're actually doing quite good star wise, can't complain at all if they have star filled events like 187/189 every 2nd month, what they are missing in some divisions though are potential top 5-10 guys who could make a run for it. That's why the LW division is the best division.

BW would be great if people stopped getting injured with Cruz/Barao/Dillashaw/Faber/Assuncao + the tier below them

Yeah must be a correlation between lighter fighter and heavier fighters and injuries. Probably because they move more and I suppose most injuries come in scrambles and those guy sure do scramble. Also, they probably extend their knee's moving around more than say a fighter like Nelson who if I recall has never pulled out of a fight due to injury. The exception here is a fighter like Cain, who imitates the lower weightclass fighters in that he moves around a lot, pushes the pace, goes for takedowns etc.

Likely a big factor in this is most pros train with guys in every weight class. BWs much more likely to get injured than the LHWs in those situations

LC Davis -277 and Carmont -276 for Fridays bellator seem good, both should prob be -400ish

Put a small parlay on Davis+Carmont for a sweat

Thinking about maybe firing Masvidal

Kinda tempted by Carmouche but probably won't I do think she's gone from overrated to underrated though since her debut.

Lot of steam fading Maynard so far if he can't win this one he needs to hang it up especially if he gets finished

Pretty happy with just Poirier and Pena so far

Dober decision reversed to a no contest

Dana White ‏@danawhite

I want to thank the Brazil Athletic Comm for doing the right thing in making Dober vs Leandro Silva a NO CONTEST

Going to email Pinny to ask if they're regrading bets but I doubt it obviously. They did do it when the official result of Iaquinta/Damm was changed though due to timekeeper error

That is honestly surprising, I'd except them to cover for each other and argue the case he was "out". But way to go brazilian commission.

Yeah, hard to really argue he's out though when he's moving his right arm purposefully during the fiasco.

Everyone makes mistakes, it's not at all about that (to a degree, I mean every ref has made mistakes, even herb dean, but it's more interesting how often you make them), it's about people/organizations admitting they did wrong and that they will take the right actions. For instance, Pearson/Sanchez. It was such a blatant error, and yet they didn't change the win. In close robberies, yes, they shouldn't do anything, but fights like Sanchez/Pearson, u simply have to go back and change the result.

pretty weak set of underdogs these next 2 events outside of cochrane and stallings nothing really stands out especially with iaquinta getting the even treatment on bovada

Won half a unit for Bellator card on the Davis/Carmont parlay, Davis stock fell a bit even with a decent fight imo

Anyone like any WSOF plays?

Thoughts on Masvidal -120ish? Haven't decided yet vs Iaquinta but it's tempting

The UFC was right to cut Carmont despite potentially being a top 10 MM or LHW. Last night he clocked his opponent with 7 clean shots had the guy doing the marble walk and then decides to implement his game plan and shoots for a double.
He's instinctually boring and seems opposed to going for the KO.
The LC Davis vs. Japanese journeyman fight was just awesome. Loved that fight well worth re-watching imo.
