Beautiful transitions on the ground. Some of the best we've seen in a while.

Going to be fading Burns vs a good striker with solid TDD though.

Hope Kos retires now. As a fan it's hard to watch. He just doesn't react to getting hit well anymore.

Didn't like much on this card but jumped on Laflare just then for 2u @ -111 for the sweat.

Thought the steam coming in on Maia went a bit far, anyone have any idea why the Maia steam happened? Just a known name?

Think it's just due to name value. Laflare should be the correct side here. Gl us!

Sigh... This is over. Laflare needed to win r3-5.

Yeh, Maia is nearly impossible to finish too. Sucks.

Lol. I think he will take the 1 pt deduction.

Pretty sure that was Maia's way of letting the UFC know to never put him in a 5 round fight again

Yeah, he was dead tired r5, I mean it sucks to watch, but good strategy with nothing left and 4 rounds banked and it's not like he was passive enough (aka full Starnes) to deserve to lose 3 points or get DQd.

Haha yeh, well stalled by Maia though, having such a dangerous guard let's you do that.

I was wishing Laflare was Brazilian so I had the possibility of being on the right side of an epic robbery.

GJ to those who jumped on Maia, I really thought Laflare was going to tire him and win a decision.

Maia has five rounds to work his magic. Should be enough time to catch Laflare.
Martin was disappointing. Thought his youth alone would be enough. Maia dominated as expected for five rounds. Except the last. He had room to play it safe. Sweet KO from Serrano. Last punch wasn't necessary. Dober was winning. Leandro's Anderson Silva move were not working. Pepey was entertaining. As always. Win or lose

2015: total +17u

because ufc is a joke, the market isnt efficient at all, the line moves mean next to nothing and you can make money just by betting dogs blindy because no one knows a damn thing about this "sport" yet.

Pretty disgusting if it's true the ref trained with the guy. He certainly needs to never referee a UFC fight again

On to the next card

Stuff i'll consider

Mendes ITD at better than evens (Lamas has been finished in 2/3 losses and Mendes should be better than him everywhere, certainly a long way from a lock but I think he finishes slightly over half the time when he wins which is almost always)

Pena -240ish, the UFC views her as a potential future contender to Rousey they will be trying to feed her as favourable matchups as possible plus she's really good - she's Tate's protege, good looking and a TUF champ, the UFC definitely doesn't want her to lose.

Also Pena ITD at +200 or better is likely and will probably fire that if its available based on what the over/under 2.5 lines are

Guida by decision seems likely against Peralta if the price is decent. Guida hasn't finished anyone since 2011 but is clearly a higher class of fighter and his losses are to legit guys. I expect a 30-27 a lot for Guida.

Yakovlev/Maynard is interesting because Maynard's chin is completely gone and from memory Yakovlev took a round from Maia... that said he isn't a power puncher is he?

Poirier -154 looks like a good price vs Ferriera who while good hasn't fought anyone of Poirier's caliber, Poirier is legitimately top 15 dont think Ferreira is

tbh looks like the story was incorrect and his training partner is another Leandro Silva, so he's only incompetent rather than corrupt....

Apparently they are not the same person

I saw people saying on twitter that ref Eduardo Herdy trains with Leandro Silva. That's not true. He trains with a different Leandro Silva.

Kos was looking ok until he started stumbling all over himself trying to throw nuclear bombs sigh. If he just would have kept fighting with a level head he would have had a chance.

Poor card for me. Laflare was really disappointing. Thought he had the athleticism to stave off Maia's takedowns without too much trouble.
