Be interesting to see how new UFC signing Joseph Duffy does. He's got wins over both Conor and Norman Parke be cool if he can go on a bit of a winning streak.

What do you think about jones vs rumble? Will cocaine guy defend his title?

Betting on Rumble for value... The way he dismantled Gustaffson (Who in my opinion should have got the decision against Jones) has to be worth consideration

People are giving Gus way to much credit, if they think that beating him makes you a good bet vs the p4p king.

Rumble was better than Gus everywhere. He is only better than Jones in one area (striking) And the edge is much smaller than the edge he had on Gus.

Woodley at evens or better seems good. Should be close fight but Woodley has a way bigger upside to dominate or finish than gastelum does.

Awesome fight, if Jones can get past r2-r3, he'll definitely wear out AJ. But considering what AJ did vs Gus who really has a great chin (he didn't even get KTFO, he simply quit after AJ's punishment), I don't know what's going to happen. JJ goes for the clinch when he gets battered in the striking area, and usually he's been able to force it, with the likes of DC. But will he be able to do that to AJ? Remains to be seen, all I know is if he plays that "I owned DC by becoming DC type of fighter, "embracing the grind"", then he'll get KTFO, u can teach grinding, but you cannot teach KO power and I'll doubt he'll stand and trade w AJ to prove himself and "absorb" his powers.

More then likely yes. Jones is very good at using his long lanky frame and rumble will not be able to run him over like he did Gus. Then again I didn't think Jones had a chance in hell to out wrestle DC

With proper training OSP should win... but he'd also be a top 5 fighter right now with proper training. The guy's an idiot or his coaches are idiots. I'm thinking the former. His wrestling sucks and Cummins is top 5 in wrestling in the LHW division. Cummins via decision.

I am thinking this makes Cormier/Gustafsson a little more likely, since OSP and Bader seemed to be likely candidates to fight Cormier and Gus if they didn't have them fight each other. Of course Rashad Evans is still there too.

It's weird. Something like 9 of the top 13 LHWs are coming off a loss.

OSP will never become a top 5 LHW. Like ever.

Although this is probably his fight to lose.

Hoping to ger jones -300 or better vs rumble. Gustafsson still has the best chance to beat jones at lhw starting to think jones wont lose at lhw in his prime

He must like being a big fish in a small pond. He's at a useless gym facing basically incompetent opposition all day and even if the coaches might be decent, nobody's there to punish him for being sloppy. So when his "I'm a big strong guy" gameplan fails, like it did against Bader, his technique everywhere is **** compared to high-level fighters and he can't leverage the athleticism into cage results. But he can still pwn everybody in the gym with crappy technique, so he never really improves much.

I'd be careful there

All the drama around Jones's test results may mean he's a different fighter next time.

I think Kelvin is a good fighter but it’s a big step up in competition for him and he hasn't ever fought someone with the power of Woodley (maybe Uriah but he wasn't the same fighter he is now).

In terms of where I think Kelvin could win, it could be the wrestling which was to me the most impressive part of his performance in the Ellenberger fight and you can see the way that Shields used the clinch on the fence to tire/frustrate Woodley to secure a split decision win over him. But in saying that Woodley is also an elite wrestler and he may be able to neutralise Gastelum’s wrestling.

Woodley did sort of lock up in the MacDonald fight and didn’t try to come out to win in the third but I think that was due to Rory’s style of technical striking and utilising his jab to maintain range which stopped Woodley getting in on him which Gastelum doesn’t posses. The Shields fight is a good example of where he came out in the 3rd guns blazing looking for a KO so I think he has the will to win, it just wasn’t shown off in the MacDonald fight.

If the wrestling doesn’t become a major part of the fight then I think Woodley has a huge shot of winning the fight by KO given his power and he gets it done a lot more than one in four times.

I’ve already got 2u on Woodley by KO +400 and was considering going bigger on him but was wondering if people see this fight differently? Am I underestimating Gastelum?

My last card Result:

Also had a last minute parlay for .5u Pesta by Dec/Johnson by Decision +4840 which lost.

= 9.3u profit
I agree with this a lot, except i think that Kelvin wont be out wrestling woodley. I have woodley for 1u at +105 and may play more if price stays like that at weigh ins..

I think Woodley is a step up for kelvin, he will have the definite speed advantage and i think he is far more likely to win via stoppage.. I think for Kelvin, his best chance is to win a decision by keeping good movement and winning later rounds when woodley sometime slows down/locks up.. Kelvin also leaves him self open when he charges in which can be very dangerous against a guy like woodley, obviously.

What do you guys think of mein/alves? I am leaning mein, i think he will do a good job of staying out of pit bulls range and i didn't think thiago looked great against Baczynsky. I dont think you can take much out of his earlier fights, since they were at least three years ago..

Anyone betting natal vs watson? I know watson isnt great but i dont really know if natal deserves to be -170.. I thought he lost his last fight to camozzi, and he definitely gasses and gets sloppy in the later rounds..

I have Mein in some parlays

He could easily be unbeaten in the UFC, Brown dodged a bullet in that fight

If he has been juicing for his last several fights I have really doubt that he would stop because of a couple extra eyeballs.

This time is very different I'm sure he'll have to be more careful ("IF" something was going on): http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Vic...spicious-80631

10X less test than a normal man and he out powered cormier.......

Hope they don't matchup Gus with DC, would like to see both of them challenge JJ again. Instead do Gus Bader and DC Davis or Rashad against either. Think it's just stupid to throw away contenders if they do Gus DC.

My card is pretty much done I think (10.5u at risk):
Diaz/Silva u3.5 1.5u @ -140
Woodley by KO 2u @ +400
Woodley 2u @ +110
Iaquinta/Lauzon o2.5 2u @ +110
Mein 2u @ -110
McCall by decision 1u @ +125
