2nd round Lombard, didn't see first. Burkman is tricky, he's making it hard for Lombard go in full force without risking it since Burkman is throwing down, taking 2 to dish out 1.

Really nice pass there from Lombard. Patient and effective.

What a ****ing chin. That puts out 90% of guys at this weight.

I really would like to see Lombard/Hendricks but I'm not sure he earned it.

sigh, 30-27 lombard, lose close to a unit on the fight because of his lack of killer instinct this time

I mean he fought smart, but that type of performance is not going to help him leapfrog rory to a title shot

Let's go Gaudinot, grab that neck early

Looking forward to the fight. And I got him at +155 on Bovada.
Really happy for him, wonderful performance tonight. Great kid and well deserved. Also his relationship with Maddux (the kid who battled leukemia that he gave the shout out to) is pretty heartwarming, and hopefully helps show people outside of MMA some of the good in these fighters.

Saw some guys here took him at +170. Seems the line started moving pretty quickly when I got him at +155.

guessing lombard POTN is dead after that as well

Think Lombard beats up Brown but kinda hope i'm wrong, it'd be cool to see someone break him. Lombard makes it really hard to cheer for him

Burkman deserved his shot back in the UFC. Only 5 of the top 15 WW's are willing to fight Hector and he made the distance. Burkman gassed after the 1st but he will be a good gatekeeper in the WW division as he's durable and knows the business.

Not a good interview from McGregor here he's stumbling over his words which is unusual for him

It's tiresome to hear the same repetetive words from Connor, just doesn't feel natual the way they set this up. Feel like they need to make these sorts of interviews a bit relevant.

Gaudinot an up and coming star? A guy who's 1-3 in his last 4 including a drug failure?

Time for another Asian hype train to end.

Gaudinot still in UFC occuping a main event slot pretty much shows how shallow the division is. They need someone to just get a 2-3 fight win streak to get challengers for DJ.

He's not likely hurt in any way so hopefully he will take the fight vs. Brown as Brown was the Main Event for that card on Valentines day. I think Brown will win it as Lombard will gas if pushed and Brown will take it to him.

In 3 rounds it's fn tough to beat Lombard for anyone. He hits so hard that many don't want to engage and if u don't engage Lombard won't gas.

2-2 if you include the failed drug test win as a win, 1-2-1 if not

Think Lombard steam rolls Brown, either finishes him in r1 or simply takes him down at will and grinds out a decision (kind of like the shields fight). Lombard didn't even look gassed in r3 in this fight.

Gaudinot got the better of it narrowly for first half of the round, Horiguchi for the second half - could go either way, no one landed anything significant

If I had to guess 10-9 Horiguchi because he finished stronger but I would have said 10-9 Gaudinot w a minute left, at +566 that round could have gone either way which is what i'm betting on

This. Browns wins fights in the clinch, Lombard will toss him around if Brown tries to clinch.

It would be a 5 rounder and how can anyone get gassed when his opponent was running 80 percent of the fight. Brown wouldn't run that is a guarantee.
I think the fight would go like Condit vs. Hendriks. Had that fight gone 5 rounds Condit would have won it.

A R1 KO is possible but Lawlor couldn't do it to Brown and he nailed him a lot with clean shots.

2nd round to Horiguchi but Gaudinot did have that sub attempt. Could be 20-18 or 19-19, Sherdog has the first round 1-1 with the third guy scoring it 10-10

Hopefully Gaudinot can win r3 and give me a sweat

I love me some Matt Brown, but Lombard is just the more athletic fighter and at these levels it matters a lot. While Brown had a nice streak, it was mostly against the type of fighters he excels at winning against, strikers who brawl with him and possibly have weak cardios and/or weak chins. And in most of those fights he was close to getting finished.

Horiguchi looking good in r2 and so far in r3. 29-18 or 30-27 it seems so far.
