Beautiful. Wasn't a fan of Ferguson's personality on TUF but his fights always deliver and he puts Trujillo to sleep. Awesome fight and he fought through adversity well and grinded him down. I think he's earned a shot at a #10-15 guy next. Has made me a fan. He def has potential to be a top 10 guy if he continues to improve

wow, CM Punk to debut in the UFC in 2015. Has signed a multi-fight contract. That's something I didn't expect to actually happen. Would be cool to see him succeed. I know he's got a lot of BJJ experience, I wonder where his striking and wrestling are at - he has an amateur wrestling background too right?

I'm sure they'll give him the most favourable matchups possible as so they should - crazy he's not taking a low level fight outside the UFC first though

So is Punk going to go back to his original name. Or is Bruce buffer going to announce him as CM Punk?

Also does he even have an amateur fight? Brock was turned down by Dana until he got a pro fight under his belt, and he atleast had a high level wrestling background.

I can really see this ending badly for punk.

Highly biased towards Ferguson as I both bet on him and hate Trujillo and while Ferguson won the end of the round, Trujillo won the round as a whole for sure. It was clear that he was fading late in the round though and that Ferguson was going to be in good shape in r2

Looking like the finish bonuses are Samman and Duffee unless we see something spectacular in one of the last two. Honestly it would be a travesty if either didn't get a bonus.

Just did some real quick research. Punk is 36 and has been wrestling since 1999.

Don't think people know the wear and tear wrestling does on the body, but it's a lot! All that then join at 36 without ever training full time before. Unless they are planning on signing a can from the regional circuit, I don't see him beating a single ufc fighter.

Also sick KO by Dufee.
