Pettis ITD looking tempting at +190 in a 5 rounder. Melendez is talented and has never been finished but I think Pettis has the potential to hurt him standing or sub him late especially if it's a fairly one sided fight

Interested in seeing Browne wins in r1 line if it's good enough

Ferguson Dec +190 looks tempting too, he can def finish Trujillo but I think it'll be a 30-27 quite a lot of the time. Haven't fired either, but might if either line gets a lot better.

Anyone got thoughts on what the true line on Hendo/Mousasi is?

Definitely going to fire Gustafsson against Rumble too, he proved he's a Jones-caliber fighter on a good day by going to a close 48-47 with him and i'd snap take Jones over Rumble at that price too. I think I like both Jones and Gustafsson against Cormier and Rumble at current lines and I hope they both win so we get the rematch we've wanted for a while

Mousasi -300 at least for me, I really don't see how he loses this.

Feels like he has everything going for him except random H-bombs. Feels like the line is about right was wondering if anyone liked either side, since most of you have watched more Mousasi fights than I have

H-bomb isn't really a concern at all for me tbh. I think I'm on the low side with -300. Might be closer to -400. Mousasi has a granite chin for if he does get clipped and very nice striking defense that should make that a rarity anyways.

This. I mean shogun was lighting him up until the H-bomb. No reason to think Mousasi can't do the same, and probably worst.

Decent sale on fight pass today

$7 a month and free magazine subscription.

I'm only still subscribed to FP because im too lazy to unsubscribe again. Pretty much all FP events are blacked out in Australia meaning i'm paying for a useless library of fights I could find for free on google.

Pretty tilting they can't even let me watch their events I pay for so I have to find an illegal stream AFTER paying for their content lol

I actually really like it,

I do all my research pre-betting on there and the quality is better/easier than the google search etc.

Obv I get the events though which at the price make it a no brainer.

Yeah i'd have no problems at all if I got the fight pass events that were you know, advertised to be shown on fight pass

I could VPN around it, but then run the risk of Stars etc. thinking i'm in the US and getting my poker accounts frozen if I accidentally opened it with the VPN open

Am I alone on being glad that there was no UFC this weekend. Prior to a big PPV I think it's nice to have a week or two break to build up the anticipation.

Am i the only one that thinks they need 2 week hiatuses all the time.. these are becoming very weak cards... I love mma but UFC is saturated product...

I dont mind if the free cards are watered down, it's just nice to have more MMA on - they should definitely hold less PPVs though so that the cards are stacked. Hector Urbina vs Edgar Garcia is not a main card PPV fight. The UFC 181 card looks decent though. The dos Santos vs Miocic card looks great for a free tv card too.

Fully agree, I don't mind watered down cards, as long as the ppv cards are stacked and you put on at least once a month a really stacked card that you can look forward to. It gets to be an issuie when the ppv cards lack good fights, that the whole product suffers.

I think it's awesome to have more cards from a betting standpoint since a lot of these fights have huge value. From a fan standpoint, I would've lost interest a long time ago, esp with the injury prone 2014 that made you forget about a bunch of relevant fighters.

Agree with most of what is being said. More cards/fights is better for bettors. PPV cards should be 1/mo at most and ought to be quality fights for the whole PPV card with a quality headliner on the undercard (seems like they are using Faber in this role a lot now that he is out of title contention)

I dislike the use of big name fighters past their prime as main events on PPV cards. Don't really like Diaz x AS fight being the main event of a PPV. Put a title fight or a great title eliminator as the main and I'm ok with AS x Diaz as undercard.
Also don't think it makes sense to schedule guys like AS for 5 rd fights, in general I think it is bad to have guys who aren't vying for a title shot in 5rd fights. MMA careers are volatile and short enough already, to start asking guys to go 5 rounds for main events that are meaningless just doesn't make sense to me from fighters or UFC perspective.

I don't mind 1 card/week, the thing is MMA is huge now so you have a lot more people trying to compete and getting signed by the UFC. They can't just bench all these prospects, they have to be given the chance to fight and prove themselves.

IMO this is great for the sport because eventually the UFC won't be able to sign every great fighter which will allow room for other promotions to grow (hopefully).

Competition is a good thing but I do like that most of the top fighters are under one banner so you dont end up with dumb boxing like scenarios where the top guys fight cans instead of each other

Anything that grows MMA as a whole is good though. Would be fun to see Lesnar in Bellator for example, get some eyes on their product + he'd probably fare well in their HW division and if he somehow becomes Bellator champ then it builds hype for a UFC return
