i'm pretty sure a fighter is always gonna get 5-10 seconds of leeway in a situation like that. the ref is gonna get a ton more flak for having a quick trigger DQ'ing someone on a time technicality than he is for letting a fight continue, and not just from fans but from people whose opinions actually matter.

you also have to consider that the most likely outcome from letting a guy struggling to get off the stool continue is that he gets finished or loses the next round convincingly anyway.

Looks like 29-28 Cerrone for me. Alvarez, Chander and Brooks all took a bit of a hit to their stock, looks like Bellator's top 3 can't hang with the UFC's top 5

Puts me back to being up 1 and a bit units for the card, will either win a partial unit or two and a bit for the card depending if MM/Cariaso u4.5 hits

His defense is pretty bad too. I love the guy but he still has some holes... it's all mental for him.

Alvarez is small for LW and should drop 10 pounds.

My original read in the card was to only be Cerrone. Wish I would have stuck with that. That fight atleast gives me a chance at a break even card if I chase on the u4.5.

Going to watch the main later my internet's being stupid and the stream's all laggy/unwatchable

Decent card overall, I think I got a bit unlucky on Kennedy and Gibson and will still end up either breaking even or winning a couple units roughly depending how the main goes. gl all, will check back in a bit later on going to avoid main spoilers

Ouch. Why don't you misclick on one of the split decisions that goes against you instead one time

Third winning card in a row for me now I think although all of them were small after that disastrous run last month. Slowly rebuilding confidence.

Also no idea if anyone has whatever 'sportsint' is on bestfightodds but it has Rory Mac -241 and 5d has Saffiedine +400 if anyone happens to have funds on both

+400 seems very inflated on Saff, I was hoping to get Rory at -200 or better but if Saff winds up being a +500 dog might have to take him
