Usually agree with you, but I have a small bet on Cub. Not even a unit, but I see this as a pickem. Cub will bring it and look good in the eyes of the judges if he is aggressive against the boxer, counter striker.

Like it, Pearson is solid good all around fighter who takes the game very seriously.

Swanson burned me last time for underestimating him but man I just can't see him keeping up with Pearson in the standup and he is pretty much always willing to get in firefights on the feet.

Dan Hardy vs Sadollah announced...

Think this line will be relatively close but Hardy should be a decent sized favorite. Sadollah simply has not shown the wrestling chops to exploit Hardy and Sadollah gets hit so so so much.

That's a favorable matchup for Hardy. I wonder what happens if he loses, I mean going by his record, this next one should be a kick/keep situation as well and then the third fight or maybe fourth he can start thinking about losing one more.

He won't get cut with a loss, but he prob will if he loses two imo. His losses have all been to legit guys, and he has charisma and a fan friendly style and remember he's 5-4 in the UFC on a 1 fight win streak.

He also has a huge fanbase in the UK and has had a shot at a title which he went the distance in. I'd say he's unlikely to get cut soon.

Some wacky stuff happening in the Fedor fight, now the money is coming in on Rizzo. WTF?

He "should" have been cut already but it doesn't always go by merit.

Ummmm wtf Hatsu Hioki is on the undercard for this fight...AND he's only -225 against Ricardo Lamas?

Waiting on that line to drop on 5dimes.

In the meantime...Rich Franklin -170.

performify/mmajunkie are such dana-pleasers, not even 1 mention of Fedor vs Rizzo on junkie today

That was quick

Keep lining up cans and he'll keep smashing em

Thats because Fedor is irrelevant.

Hioki down to -170. Probably cant expect it to drop any more.

He was smashing cans when he was 'relevant'

UFC would still want him and he'd still draw - M1 just screws evthing up

Anyone see any reason not to smash the Hioki line against Lamas?

From memory, Lamas was getting beaten up by Cub until he got the finish and while I doubted Hioki after the Roop fight, he proved me wrong against Palaszewski.

First time i've wanted to bet heavily on a Japanese fighter in a while, but Hioki seems like a semi-lock here and he's into -165ish

Yeah i'm trying to decide whether to smash the line now or whether it'll drop more

He is going to be considered the best for his time(pride time), and he really was, but in todays climate, he's a nobody, no shame in that though.

It's a real shame though that he didn't get to fight more UFC guys when he was in his prime, he would have truly been the best then no question marks.

He's still the "best" historically speaking but honestly I think that says more about the heavyweight division than it does about Fedor...

I bet Hioki and threw him in a parlay with Maynard.

Also on Pearson by dec +124

Just dumped about 6u on Hioki, and raised my bet to 4u on Pearson. Also got 0.7u on Guida, and 0.2u on Funch (odds play, more against Miller being that big a fav than any actual faith in Funch but it seemed ok)

Want to bet Ebersole and Nijem too but cant justify it at that price and as i'm a big fan of both i'm probably not being objective. May end up doing a Ebersole+Nijem+Hioki+Pearson parlay if the odds are decent, wait and see I guess.

Considering a play on Ken Stone. Still don't believe Pague is a good fighter.

I watched Pague on TUF and all that, he's mediocre, but I know nothing about Stone so probably just going to stay away from the fight.

Got a preference on Siler vs Gambino?
MMA Thread Quote

Not really, don't know anything about Gambino.

Ebersole seems like a lock to me too at first glance. Waldburger is a slick grappler but he isnt the wrestler Ebersole is and Ebersole should have an edge on the feet...

Odds getting way better on Nijem and Brown.

I don't really remember anything about Ramos other than he got beat up in a one sided fight by Erick Silva. Brown on the other hand is the definition of mid-level welterweight, so it really depends how good Ramos is I guess.

I think Ramsey should take the decision, he has a heap of potential, only problem is I have no idea how good CJ Keith is as he's unbeaten but has only faced total unknowns/cans etc so who knows what will happen with the step up in competition. I'll probably get on Ramsey if he gets inside -150 though, he's impressed me with all of his fights except Ferguson (who I still think he's better than) and his inability to finish Downes in a fight he dominated. I wouldn't be surprised to see him 30-27 30-27 30-26 a total unknown though.

Wait and see where the odds settle I guess, I got it in slightly better than at current prices on both Pearson, Hioki, i'd imagine they'll close as bigger favourites than the price I bet. Guida seems to be getting bet in slightly too. No idea which way the lines will move on Ebersole/Nijem/Brown, but I might get on one or more of them if the odds get better on any of them.
