Not a regular sportsbettor, but I can't possibly see how piling on Mayweather isn't going to make you an ROI of atleast 2-4%. Am I missing something here, it should even be relatively low variance bet? Only downside is locking up a lot of money for 2 months.

the only downside is if Mcgregor knocks him the **** out.

A few things should be self-evident to anyone with a brain:

-FMJ is the side to take

-Of course it's possible he gets knocked out, albeit highly unlikely.

-No, you should not go all in on it.

Yeah obv all-in is stupid, but using kelly criterion assuming like 2-4%-point edge should be quite smart, no?

I feel like odds this good don't come around this often. Even though Conor probably will knock him out you have to take Mayweather at 99.9%

What makes you think 'Conor probably will knock him out'? Super curious...

Just bet what you can afford to lose and don't count on the money being there in a couple months. Simple stuff.

Will have to be a pretty cheap Vegas trip to be able to finance it with the winnings off a few grand on Mayweather, even at -550...

Truth is Conor the line should be -5000/+2000

But this is a huge showcase fight with a lot of bets and books know NOBODY will bet -5000 for big money and probably 90%+ bet will be at 20/1 and could get slaughtered in a shocking upset.
WTF does this mean? You post like someone with a brain injury

What the fuc? I'm assuming most people at 2p2 aren't betting on sports because they think it's 0 or minus EV.

Also if you bet atm on Floyd even assuming no edge and markets are correct atm, which i seriously doubt, u can count that 85% of the time u get ur money back and a bit more.

a few buddies of mine are debating whether or not this is even worth ordering given the presumptive one-sidedness. I'm curious, even if it is a true line representation, you guys still think worth ordering and watching as a spectacle?

I would dump everything into mayweather and hedge my bets with some TKO/KO round 1/2/3/4 bets for conor, as they pay ridiculously huge. conor will never win by judges, its just not an realistic option.

im probably just going to stream it live for $10 from a specialty site like i do with all the UFC PPV's, i mean its a monthly charge so this fight might cost me $0 to watch.

would i pay $60-80 for it? hell no lol idiots who dont know how the internet works can do that.

I see it being entertaining due to Floyd's skill. Manny Vs Floyd was a really close edge by Floyd so obv it went 12. I don't see this fight going 12 so we might get to see a TKO or KO. If Conor Gases in 5th we might get to see some fireworks. There is also the chance Floyd uses his knowledge of Boxing to trick Mcgregor into putting his hands down during regulation and getting knocked **** out.

difficult for an unusual fight to have a usual outcome...

what I secretly think is conor like so many before him, have figured out some weakness.. some Sunday punch option that zeros Mayweather.

Shane.m Mr smiles leading up to the fight thought he had the trick, and he did.. he darn neared KO'ed Mayweather.

This is not going to be a normal fight, and its not going early, Conor is not going any place, under 4,5,6..

Conor will have trained properly for this irrespective of what ever, he is a death row ready to meet death in the middle and he is stepping up representing irish here.

Its a joke fight, but its not so much a joke.

I take the under 9.5

There is going to fire works, conor is legit in 4d.... Mayweather is the best ever in 2d.

haha, I mean I already planned on buying it - but was just passing along/keeping the convo going ITT. I agree tho, kinda a no brainer entertainment wise.
