Re: Low-Content Forum Chatter Thread (Current)
What do you think is the best pph site is from an agent perspective?
i.e. an agent who has 10 - 15 square bettors and wants to make life easier and have easy reporting, offer live betting, but also wants to make sure to protect themselves in case they acquire someone sharp down the road

Re: Low-Content Forum Chatter Thread (Current)
The idea that you need to protect yourself against a sharp is absurd. Locals probably encounter an actual sharp once every 300-400 bettors. If you exclude obvious bottom feeders picking off small bull**** props and what not, you probably increase that an order of magnitude.
Or just don't be an idiot and look into everyone who wins.

Re: Low-Content Forum Chatter Thread (Current)
ok, thanks Mihkel05!
Then what is the best pph site in terms of offering the best functionality for the agent and for the agent? It just seems like there are tons of choices in the $8 - $15 per head range and I don't want to make the wrong choice and have to move everyone mid season.
any input is appreciated, thanks..

i think it really depends on the credit lines you offer. the vast majority of locals who give up 3k-5k or whatever lines of credit will likely never encounter any client they'd ever wonder about, but if you're doling out 25k+ lines of credit to a multitude of people you will have a much greater chance of having one of your guys partner up with someone.

Theres a million options and theyre all pretty similar so it really doesnt matter. Just make sure you look at the site from a bettors point of view and not just thru the agent portal because its very different. And guys used to change sites pretty often too so I wouldnt worry about that. You sound pretty noobish...I assume youve never done this before. Youre going to have a lot more problems than choosing what site to use and "sharps" coming out of the woodwork aint gonna be one, trust me.

go to a car dealership, pretend to be interested in a car, ask if anyone who works there takes action. Youll have a network of incompetent bookies for life. Car salesman loooove calling themselves bookies. The first few locals I tore through were all acquired through poker or through friends who worked at dealerships, and the dealership guys were always shockingly bad and would actually take decent sized bets. I remember getting like 1500 down when I was probably 19 or 20 or so on Bama +7 that was literally +2 everywhere else. Sure 1500 is nothing now but back then w silly locals and lines off by 4 or more points, youd be lucky if a guy will take over 200 bucks. He paid me no problem too.

Tune in for Bruiser getting cuck'd out of 6 dimes and then pillorying another man's integrity for money. This is more of false accusation/panhandling level of ethics than an outright theft, but still amusing how many people fall prey to scams on a gambling board.
Glad I pay my monthly dues to the internet millionaire chat room.

Re: Low-Content Forum Chatter Thread (Current)
having him confirm his identity by posting on twitter was not the smartest thing in hindsight. Nor was sending the whole 6k in one move. Live and learn I guess but I dont think bruiser is owed a thing. Assuming the "hack" part of the story is legit of course.

Poogs,
You have said far fewer overtly stupid things since your introspective period. Congrats.

Iowa likes to think of himself as some sort of 'consumer advocate' I guess? It lets him lash out his obvious self-directed anger at strangers with the comfort of anonymity and without having to deal with a face to face situation. So he gets it both ways; he vents his pent up self-hatred while telling himself he's doing some sort of community service. Its kind of sad when you think about it.
