haha that was me getting roasted im 99% sure. I bet i know who PMd you too. Its prob the same guy that used to PM me non stop. Even after we tried working together and I broke it off after less than a couple weeks after he just would not stop texting me, every day multiple times a day. David?

I’m still around but this forum has been more useless than ever over the last 3+ years. Still entertaining to read though.

That thread brings back Laverty/Lambert memories. Dear God what a loser scam artist. All the people bashing Microbob actually thought BrianL had a clue what he was doing. Went on to try and run God knows how many scams at other forums. Mustafa Shakur (name of an ex Arizona bball player) was a middle man that screwed him out of paying a debt or some ****. That guy is sad.

i was recently reading an old one and realised rsigley is pretty much a combination of daniel plainview and ted kaczynski.

sigley, have you read industrial society and its future? seemed it might speak to you, given some of the similarities. disdain for materialism, valuing tranquility and isolation of nature, inability or unwillingness to relate to women, having property in remote places montanta, permanent mental damage from working in higher academia...ticking a lot of boxes.

on the other hand, you've become pretty rich off exploiting technology which i think ted would eschew.

does anyone know of anywhere that offers jai alai betting besides the actual frontons or OTWs? parimutuel or fixed odds, doesn't matter.

Re: Low-Content Forum Chatter Thread (Current)

Glad to see some of you guys from the old days are still kicking. I'll probably be around here a little more since SBR banned me and refuses to give me a reason or a real response.

Would be interested more in discussing new and existing books and any special promos like the BetOnline/Sportsbetting/Lowvig one above.

Ha. Wasn't really posting much on SBR since the days of Ganchrow. Glad to be back, though.

nice man how are the rugby markets these days? i really don't follow the sport nor the betting so i'd love to hear an update on what things are like now and how they've evolved.

It's interesting. A lot more games are offered than there used to be. You get all the 7s series now and you also see a lot of "Tier 2" 15-a-side matchups offered. It's not unusual to find games off by 10+ points in the latter and you can see the line moves to match.

Also, the market is still quite slow to react to injury news in these matchups. I'm not convinced it would react at all on some of these matchups if it weren't for me. There was an example a couple years ago where the US played Canada in a Rugby World Cup qualifier. They had tied the first leg in Toronto and the second leg was in San Diego. The line was USA -5, but a couple hours before the match, two of Canada's best players were announced to be out with injury. And injuries to the better players for countries like Canada and the US are huge, because they occasionally have good players but there is little depth. So in this case you were taking two professionals playing at top European clubs and replacing them with amateurs who have day jobs and frankly are nowhere near as good. It'd be like Pascal Siakam and Kyle Lowry going down with injuries tonight and having to replace him with some random PG and SF from a college team with a Kenpom in the 200s. Anyway, I saw the injury news probably a good 30 minutes after it had been announced and the line hadn't moved a cent. So it's definitely not on the level where an injury gets announced in the NBA and everyone instantly moves the line (LOL at Embiid's injury/non-injury news crushing me this playoffs).

Rugby makes up probably less than 1% of my total handle these days, though (possibly why I also feel comfortable sharing the above). Limits are fairly low and I've been much more into props, derivatives and general steam chasing/off market lines for awhile now. Although now that I've discovered Fairlay (assuming you have played there), it might make up a little more.

On another note, how do you think Bitcoin has impacted the industry? Do you think offshore will survive in its current form with state after state legalizing sports betting?

They'll bet it or it will move on Pinny and everywhere else will move on air? Maybe a little bit of both. Anyway, you can both work around that and use it to your advantage.

Some pretty epic quotes in there, like reading that all investors are degenerates, or equally degenerate as sports gamblers.

I'm here, you probably missed me [insert b00t joke here], I couldn't stay away from my bff TomG.

Is Poogs still around? And a gmcarroll sighting!

Oh and congrats to ProfBen although I think I did that last summer but just in case.
