so for example, today i would post this link of a snapshot from thegreek's lines and we bet only off those.

ok that seems fair. So one of us posts our line set for the day and we both go off that? I have a few jazz outs that post tons of these regularly but are next to impossible to get down on, so Ill probably use those when I post.

I've only read to this post still, but anyone that ever has a bad word to say about TomG needs to deal with me. metaphorically speaking, I suppose.

30th october. back from r&r for 8 days now. fighting has been intermittent and nothing so bitter as in september. it's clear we are the superior force and we are winning. it seems the enemy is losing his will to fight. we march forward nearly every day, sometimes gaining a little more ground, sometimes a little less. rarely do we fall back. victory by christmas is in our sights. misclicked today. damage could have been worse.

reserves from costa rica nearly completely pulled back. with a victory in the philippines looming near, rumour is we may all be headed for england next. i shudder to think what damage we could do to the brits with such a large and concentrated force. we're coming for you tommy.

winter has set in. the days are short and most wagers placed under the cover of darkness. time will tell what this will do to the psyche.

One of the saddest things is when you've been going to war with someone at Pinny. Then one day, you bet and there is no buy back, you repeat for a few days... Then the realization sets in that you broke them. smh

Been lurking here for some time, but rarely not post.

First let's get this out in the open: I am friends with Brian Laverty. We share a couple accounts (5dimes and LBC). I am not him and can prove it. He's scammed some people in the past, some of which I knew about at the time. Not proud of it but neither is he and he is paying back old debts.

Very long story short.

I put tomatoe in touch with a guy near Boston. I saw tomatoes post in August and contacted him.

As poogs or any other sharp knows, if you are betting props and team totals, start off slow and don't bet into obvious bad numbers for your first bet.

Tomatoe decides to take advantage of a bad line that was off the market price, and at limits that were yet to be adjusted for his personal account.

He makes only one bet: for $750 on a team total, and thinks the bookie will have no problem paying that.

After going back and forth trying to help out tomatoe, the bookie said he can take $300 and a $450 freeplay. Tomatoe said it's $750 and doesn't care about the nice gesture. I try to pay, but injust don't have $750 to pay out of my pocket AND it's tough to pay knowing tomatoe was likely a scammer. He was begging for the money saying he NEEDED it. I'm a $50 bettor and that's pretty much all my current bankroll.

If you are the bookie, what would you do?
If you are me, and don't have the money, would you pay?

Not only does tomatoe try to threaten me and extort me, he has a friend hit me up saying the same and that I AM Brian laverty because of the lbc account-- and trying to give away personal information for him which is already WA.

Just looking for advice. If you guys think I'm in the wrong, I'd probably be willing to split up payments but I just don't think I am.

Questions:

1) How much are you getting paid?
2) Did you get him other accounts?
3) Did you guarantee he would get paid?
4) Was the bet cancelled before or after?

Bookie should obviously pay and tell the guy to fk himself. You shouldn't pay tomatoe obviously. tomatoe should snitch on the guy for illegal bookmaking.

Seems very cut and dry.

1. let's just say I'm nit responsible for his losses if he doesn't pay so obviously very little.
2. No
3. I don't think I said one way or the other, just that he's never had trouble in the past
4. Bet cancelled at halftime. Can't remember game or when it was, maybe tomatoe can fill in blanks.

Never mind, game was Seattle/Arizona.

He had Seattle team total under 21.5

I don't have time to post now, but here's the cliff notes

Brian Laverty scammed tomatoe out of 750. (yes, this is thremp's wet dream)

The bet was not cancelled at halftime. most of what "boss" wrote is a lie and boss' localbitcoin account is under "BrianL".

I'll make a thread about it later since tomatoe is too lazy

100% that the bet was cancelled at halftime and he was credited $300

Very first thing you need to do when getting into arrangements like this is VERY clearly state what happens in situations like this, IE tomatoe wins but the bookie doesnt pay. Is the agent (you) on the hook for everything? This is more tomatoes fault than yours, but you still should have brought it up.

Can you be more clear about #1? What was your deal with the bookie?

And what was the market price for the team total? Unless its way off, its pretty hard to claim off market price on a team total since they can be kind of all over the place, esp with these local books.

And you cannot blame tomatoe for firing the 750. Saying his account hadnt "been adjusted" yet is busch league.

Also need more info on the actual bet. You said it was team total under 21.5. What was the score at half time?
