Ethics and sustainability are the main issues. I am hoping that market forces push them into the Asian model (lower ROI but higher turnover)

I'm not in the tri-state area. An exchange would be a welcome addition to the market, though.

Ethics - most have none

Sustainability - should be interesting to see. Most of these books are bleeding money acquiring customers. My guess is they'll be fine long term once they've cut off all of the winners and have their big fish landed. My thought is that gnoming will happen but is a little less likely than it is offshore. Offshore you get caught gnoming and you lose the account. Here you lose the account and possibly face legal ramifications? Or am I mistaken in that?

I guess it would depend on how much you are betting. Plenty of people signing up their aunts and grandmas for sign up bonuses, but I imagine at some point between that and betting like 5 figs/game, you could have problems.

Soil samples have been analyzed (lol @ my nitrogen levels). The good news is that the pH level is actually in a good place for growing turfgrass. That would have been the most pressing issue to address. Since that's OK, the plan is to sit tight until the spring. Then I'll remove the existing moss, fertilize with a 10-0-1 (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) mix, and overseed. I'll go over the fertilizer calculations when the time comes. I am going to avoid putting down a pre-emergent to control for weeds and crabgrass which I'll probably end up regretting.

Make that 2 votes for Revtown.

Some of these cultivated moss garden lawns I'm seeing on Google images actually look pretty nice but yeah understand if that's not the aesthetic you're going for. What kind of timeline should we expect as far as seeing some lush new landscape photos?

Can you explain why Revtown's digital tailor suggests a 34x28 size jean when I answer their questions as being 5'8" 170lb, usually wear size 32x32, straight build, with just right fit? That seems wrong

i think they assume people are under reporting their weight so they need to make up the difference

i recently did an online tux rental and the kept sending me sizes way too big and i finally had to call them and insist that they should give me the actual size i entered and that worked

if your measurements are correct there's no way you're a 34 and the 28 is probably just based on your overall height

but that's for standard builds, not everyone has same proportion, you seem to have longer than standard legs whereas i'm the opposite and a 32 at 6'2 where a lot of people my height are 34 or longer

you should ignore their recommendations imo unless it's a professional tailor doing specific measurements

Does he have any recco for shorts? It's been warm enough in Vegas this week I pulled out the summer clothes, then realized I'm walking around looking like I'm dressed for a pool party. Actually, anyone have a favorite pool bar, Downtown or Strip?

Haven't tried any gamey meat in years. Would put in an order if I had a grill...
