i think they raise the darts limits to $250-$500.

I was messing around with some Snooker data the past couple of days. Model said to take clarke +110 and greene +130

both won so we are the greatest snooker bettors ever. data is real hard to find there so might check for darts instead

Don't want to speak for him but there was a whole ordeal where he used data to find out rigged esports matches, all available in the syndicate thread. Real time riggage busting. It was pretty cool to watch.

That's hilarious and sad, I missed that. I'll have to find it. I bet a lot on csgo and now I'm wondering how much I won and lost just because of thrown matches. Shouldn't be surprised, though. There was a lot of sketchy stuff that went down in esports.

IIRC what cody/sigs are referencing was the sports sims of like madden or NBA....not esports. They were running April/May when no sports were happening. So I think different things are being discussed.
11-24-2020 , 03:08 AM
That's right, I was getting esports and the sports simulations confused.

for me i'm just not gonna spend the time watching people play video games to try and understand it.

sounds horrible to me.

that would make it seem like a job and i don't need the money / action so i can avoid it.

Ah ok that makes sense. And yes very true, you have to watch to know. Back then I was playing a ton of csgo and watching on twitch and I knew the scene very well.

Also, back then with csgo (and DOTA but I didn't bet DOTA), skins betting was a big thing and that enabled kids and teenagers to bet, which just meant the odds were even softer. In its heyday csgo betting was ridiculously lucrative. Many people pulling in hundreds of thousands in months (not me ofc).

So it's been a while since I've done the whole bet stale lines thing, hoping to get my memory refreshed.

1) If I'm not steam chasing but just checking sbrodds for example for stale lines, should I be waiting until close to game time to compare? As in, a stale line a day or two away from game start isnt necessarily great?

2) Should I still be using pinny to compare or are there other books that are better now? When I look at sbrodds, sometimes it seems like pinny is different from many other books in, for example, NCAABB and NCAAFB. And a line at bovada will be off from pinny but in line with BM and others, or vice versa it'll be in line with pinny but off from others. What is the correct avenue to take? Am I only looking for lines that are off from consensus of all major books?

Thanks very much in advance, I know this is rudimentary stuff.

Has anyone built their own (or hired someone) odds comparison tool? Trialing Donbest right now it's missing a lot of books I have access to.

Anyone know of a resource for historical NCAAB 1H lines?

Felt like a huge fish rooting for Clemson to score on the fumble return with less than a min to go.

Had some livebets on o71.5 and some Clemson -41. Could have been jumping with all the squares in the sportsbook, only to experience the agony of defeat.

Also had Northwestern+3.5 ☹️

Is BetOnline the sharpest book for NCAAB? Seems like they have the highest limits.
11-28-2020 , 10:37 PM
does BetOnline even set any lines of their own? I think they just copy them from everyone else
11-28-2020 , 11:35 PM
IDK but a couple days ago, they were beating Pinnacle to the NCAAB line movements and I know in CBA stuff they're always leading Pinnacle's moves also.

A reminder to check your bets and ensure books are grading correctly. Just had BAS grade a win as a loss.

People have been saying that pinnacle isn’t really the market leader anymore for like 5 or 6 years now. I have yet to see any real evidence of that. I still see the entire market jump when pinny tells them to almost always, and almost never the other way around.

They move on air from 3 figure bets at usa based books on cbb.

Thoughts on depositing and keeping like ~20k or so on 5dimes atm? Or risk of them not paying out if I run it up?

I withdrew and they paid out post their US market exit (am in Canada). They still offer best mma and boxing prices/props and some other stuff.

Anybody else having problems with Betonline login?

Just jumping in on the esports talk above.

Was betting for fun after my brother got me to watch some matches. Live betting it is such a scam. The streams are behind by 2 rounds to the information given to the books.

Does anyone know where to get historical data for ATP/WTA tennis tournament outrights? I have lots of match data, but none of the places I get that data from have outrights.

Does anybody bet the BetOnline Booster Odds they do? Trying to understand this garbage.

If -14 is considered a loss, just do -14.5 then. Irritating, but I doubt they change anything if I complain.
01-05-2021 , 01:00 AM
If it's a 3 way market with -14, tie and +14 then yeah it is a loss because that's -14.5 and +13.5

If it's a two way market it should be a void though and complaining should fix it

Depends if there was a Colts by exactly 14 and over/under 49.5 market or not etc

They're great but low max bet size. $50.

Maybe 1/3 of them are offered with stale lines, 1/3 are offered with good enough prices on ~ market lines, and 1/3 are just ridiculously bad.

Just look for the first two buckets and enjoy the free value every day. I think I average ~1 per day.

But yes, they grade a push as a loss. It's mentioned in their rules I think? Either way I asked support about it last week and they confirmed. Also missed out on my Indy bet myself.
